Sorry I must disagree in the price gouging process of luxury items. You and I both know that these bags even in quality leather is possibly about $100 or under cost to make these fashion houses are in the business to make money. these fashion houses have been in the top 10 of all fashion houses for years we’re talking decades so they’ve made a mark and a name for themselves. where excessive fashion shows , crazy ads spending money on things that they do not really have to do to grab a consumer because their names speaks for itself, not a reason to continuously raise the prices of these items. These fashion houses were doing great 10 and 15 years ago when the price points were almost 60% less than what they are today and cost was about 50 -60% less so why the excessive increases every couple of months it’s greed. if you’ve ever been to a sample sale or to any employee, friends and family event for these big name houses the cost for an average handbag is 90% off the retail price so if you can sell it for that cheap, it wasn’t worth what you were selling it to begin with. This is more about accessibility and keeping a certain group of people excluded.
Replicas are for people like me…who want LV but feel stupid spending so much money on a bag…the *unidups* series is only for me and I feel like it’s great value for money.
*unidups* Brought me back into fashion haha. The prices of the real thing kept me off my radar for a long time since I couldn't attend. Also, I want an Adidas Balenciaga collaboration bag, but will I still like it in 5 years? Why spend thousands of dollars on this? No.
It's really sad because we know LV canvas will get thinner over time but Goyard's canvas is literally paper thin. Most of their bags are leather lined but for me a big reason to have coated canvas *unidups* the bag is lightweight and indestructible

I'd rather buy a $300 knockoff of a kislux and have $3000 in the bank. At the end of the day it's just a bag and will wear out like any other bag. The cost of the raw materials isn't that high. The real question is, how much do you value the authenticity?
The huge problem Chanel has. Is quality vs price. Quality vs knockoffs *unidups* just as good, the price doesn't match the inferior workmanship. I saw a video of a woman who bought a bag from a Chanel store and it was all coming apart at the seams. It was literally threads coming out. It was a fairly new bag! Of course, they said they would fix it, but this shouldn't have happened in the first place.
I love Dior and will continue to wear Dior . I feel like there is no way the Dior leather bags are made for cheap , the evidence is in the bags themselves.Dior is just taking the heat , shein, fashion nova etc are no better when it comes to cheap labor . Folks are just biased because it’s Dior
