I've noticed that the questions on TP are perfect for my age-group (I'm 63), but less so for today's 20-somethings. Even the Princess Diana question is "old" now, though the '90s seem like yesterday. I'm assuming this episode is from around 2014.
You’ve got to play to your audience, and the average Tipping Point viewer is likely in the 60+ age range. So questions tailored toward them makes them more likely to watch, which in turn makes the production company more money.
