Thanks for the review. I got a sample of this, Iron Duke and Vi Et Armis and love all three. I think sometimes people like the fact that it's unusual and smoky and has crazy ingredients and get carried away with the image of being cool and avant garde' rather than just liking the smell of the scent. This fragrance lasts for long enough, it's not particularly weak, has decent sillage and projection. It's got a nice, strong opening and the drydown is interesting and mellow. Your positive review helped me to make up my own mind. Thanks
I think maybe I'd overhyped this one in my head before it came out, it's still amazing stuff from such a class house. I really liked the weird dried fruits type smell and how evocative it is with the dry stone vibe. Definitely will be my next Beaufort buy for sure. Nice review man, got me hyped to go try my sample again.
Just had my sample today and then saw your review. It’s definitely a lot more mainstream than others in their range. I love it and that old church smell is one of my favourite aromas, but I’m 50/50 on getting a full bottle (probably will though)
Great review brother! Beaufort is such a avant-garde fragrance house. Very artistic and great quality creations. The only I have is Lignum Vitae which I absolutely love! Also love their leather scent and Fanthom V. Never tried that one you reviewed, but sounds really good! Take care brother 🙏
Always love learnin about these unique frags from u bro. And I know u always r real and dont bs which is def important. Thanks Robert. Beat wishes to u and ur fam hope ur all good. Be well bro. - Colin
Hi - got a chance to visit Jovoy in London last month and this fragrance was a hit with me when I gave it a sniff - love the wet stones vibe and smokiness. I also tried "Comme Un Loup" ('like a wolf') by Maison Hedonique - phew! Monster animalic! Bit scary but interesting - cheers 🙂
I’m glad you visited Jovoy in London. Can’t wait to go back on my next European visit.Terror is definitely a nice fragrance and takes a step back from their usual offerings a bit.Gonna check out Comme Un Loup in a second. Thanks for watching and commenting.
Wish you all nothing but the best, take care and stay safe everyone 🙏 I'm not familiar with this one so it's great to learn about it , vi et armis by them is gorgeous though.
I have this one along with Coeur de Noir and Iron Duke. It is third best of those three to me but I still like it from one wearing I have had. It is old books smell to my nose but the performance is not great one that one wearing.
So far both my jobs are still open. We have had two confirmed cases as far as I know here in my city. I enjoyed this review and I havent heard of this one until now. You're always finding those oddball fragrances which is cool. Keep up the great work
