You definitely need to put a turbo on the RS1! If you have seen the "CF1" that the other guys have, wheelies on demand 😅. I have a 2021 RS1 that I am looking to go that way, I don't need all brand new parts, I am good with "used " stuff to do my build. Do you think the place you are having your repair work done can hook me up along those l8nes if I send them a email?

@@dirtdudes Just a word of caution, the RS1 is insanely light so it doesn't need a ton more power to really feel a massive gain. I put a force turbo on my RS1 and it's great fun for drag racing, but that's about all I can use it for. I hate to admit it, but there is such thing as too much power and the RS1 hits that line way faster than any other vehicle.
Tuning it and getting like 15-20% more out of it turns it into, in my opinion, the perfect version of itself.
If you do end up putting a turbo on it, as a word of caution I almost always feel like im about to tip this thing if there's any kind of turning happening
@@johndoughs4480 even though I recommended the Turbo, I think you are right. Turbo will make a great machine less useful. On second thought, changing my vote.

Turbo the RS1 that’s a no brainer and Nick all I can say is I love my x3 turbo. I went with a 64 inch wide for tighter Michigan trails I will say if I sold it tomorrow I probably wouldn’t hesitate to pull the trigger on a pro r. The x3 with aftermarket assassins go fast parts has been a win for me.
Definitely do the turbo. Jake, we saw how scared you were at Sand hollow, you can't handle the "fun stuff" on the outlaw trails 😅😅😅😅😅
Definitely slap a turbo and long travel setup on that RS1. They are great machines for racing.

My opinion turbo the Rs1 sell Lucy , do the overland build. Rs1 race car, pro R is your fun car and you have a cool overland/camera car .

Most people go turbo, if you want it to be different take that motor and throw a stroker and big bore kit on it! Then an HCR kit and you'll have an unstoppable rig!

The RS1 turbo would kick but meh compared to a RZR if your looking to expand your content into different terrain riding it might be worth a different machine.

Ok guys let’s start here, Nick it’s time to go X3. So far as the other question, turbo the RS1 definitely. I mean an overland build is interesting, but it just doesn’t feel like it’s yall’s groove. Besides there are tune of those builds on the net. Now if you built a custom cage where the roof goes all the way to the back of the sxs. On the pro R, and made that an overland build I would like to see that too. Very few if any full blown sport sxs overland rigs have been built that I have seen. Sorry so long of a comment.

A turbo kit like boon docker kit or if you can get a crashed like Polaris turbo s then just engine swap it bolts right up. Then any turbo upgrade kit will work.
I tell you what I did I know you think it a little nuts . At first I did it just because I could . Bought a submarine rs1 and crashed x3 turbo that was beyond repair and lengthen the rs1 for me I am 6'7" put x3 engine drive line A-arms trailing arms fuel tank it makes it about 74" wide . This is not for the faint hearted. Needs metal fabrication shop and machine shop to make it look pretty. Since I have both I could . Why because I could

Turbo Nick’s RS1 & also do the General Overland build. Sell Nick’s two seater because that thing is never worked properly, that thing gots a gremlin.👾 I would keep Lucy because it’s nice & reliable for the most part. Sell the Pro R because it’s never working properly and get a new 2023 new designed Pro XP. Jake should get his back together with an Iron Man theme like he said when he first bought it.
If anything super charge, that would be something different and and it would be better for getting off the line.

Tater Shack Performance does some pretty sweet trailing arm conversions on Generals. If staying with the RS1, lighten it up and build a NA engine. Lower HP NA engine will feel quicker than a turbo engine.
When it comes to the drive shaft you can disconnect the rear from the trans by removing the 4 Allen bolts and then push the shaft to the side.

A General or RZR Xp4, something that a regular Joe would ride.
The front diff's on the X3's have been doing that for years with those bolts coming loose.

You should check out the method bead grip wheels. Show us you can’t roll that bead with hard abuse. They are great.

Get a General and turbo it with a 72” long travel kit. An overland machine that keeps up with the rzr’s.

Didn’t blow mine, just thought it would go with what I was doing to it. Blew a belt at Silver Lake this year but went a year I think without blowing one
