Hi. I have recently got into ancistrus and Plecs however I’m finding hugely contrasting info. Please tell me if keeping more than one of same of different species together is actually ok. Any additional information gratefully received.
great plecos,but why you put african cichlids with s.american plecos.i never understand the people who mixed this 2 different species of fish.plecos needs subdued light,dark sand,and dark background,complete different parameters of water.you have a lot of s.american cichlid to put in with plecos,geophagus,severums,festivums,uarus etc.if you dont like cichlids put a nice school of tetras.
I just start to feed pleco, and i found that l25 is the red one. Would you please tell me, l25 (the red one), what species it is, how maximum long it is, and how can i recognize male and female. And last thing is, the minimum size of the tank for a pleco is ? Thank you so much, sorry about my bad english !
