James, thank you for all of the hard work you're putting into this game. But please don't burn yourself out. Hearing you talk about the hours you're putting into the creative process is astounding. The work ethic and passion are commendable, but we want you at the helm for as long as possible and nobody can stay healthy working like that.
Love hearing James White answer a question about his creative process. Fascinating stuff and really great to hear how much thought he and the team pours into their projects.
The timing and delivery of the questions was excellent. Consuming this almost hour long session of content was a highlight of my day. As a fan of Fab since the days of monarch, the growth in content and communication made available is why i believe this passion of our will be here for the long haul. As a passionate fan and player, thank you.
He literally stated that "it will be at least the back end of next year" (2025) He also stated that "if it was not fun and not a good product we would never publish it. but I know that it WILL be a good product..." I still have faith.
@@FlukeAndBox It's because when you record videos you don't make any cuts. People get bored and click off. Look at other channels. They make cut after each sentence refreshing attention span. 1 cut =1 fact/stimulant. I think you are not fully utilizing thumbnails as well, but anyways congratulations on the growth❤
Another killer interview. So glad you asked about the Necromancer, I have been DYING for necro in FaB, I already know it's going to be fun as hell. Since Bright lights I have been entirely satisfied on mech and probably will continue to do so for a while, but a Necromancer will be the first to pull me off. I'm already prepping my rage rants against banishing mechanics.
That last answer was actually amazing. I wonder if he would love to just be on a podcast or interview and just cover that for a while instead of answering the same questions people keep asking 'whens necro, what's a cold foil, when is arcane set.' like freaking I just want to hear this man talk about what he loves which seems to be this awesome creative/development drive/process/result. No shade to you Fluke you are definitely asking the questions the community wants to hear and I really love and appreciate these interviews especially when they get these nuggets of excitement in them, keep it up!
I really appreciate you bringing up Clash to James! As a committee member, I definitely want to continue to spread the word of the game and at least make it an option for LGS or Side Events. Casual playerbase continues to grow day by day and I love being able to give them a place to start or even stay if they just enjoy the format that much :D
Im here in this video after he cracked the Marvel Enigma from the Gold.❤ Hahaha eben more happy for you. Crazy… what will be the price on a Marvel Enigma New Moon?
It's comforting to hear James speak as a creative, where he's basically removing himself from everything to work on a project because distractions shatter the creative state and pull you out. It's not isolation, it's not anti-social, sometimes it's just necessary for creative focus. I feel the same with my art and other creative stuff I do so that's nice to hear from him.
Blitz imo could be a great format for lgs casual events and like get those blitz decks and host some events on purely them. Just my imgagination as an outsider tho. Cc ia the king format, no question. Has the widest range of options and so on and guess is more reselient then lets say a game v benji in blitz in which he draws perf. Guess ^^ Anyway, greatest game, beautiiful people, company and unseen potential from the feel. Lets get PVE or more like Team events, thats definitly an idea i love and guess also holds lots of unseen ground. But for now. Les find those gold packs baaaaabyyyyy!!!! ❤❤❤
The problem with clash is its ridiculous deck construction criteria. Commons and rares. Fine. No majestics except specializations and the figments count as Prism's special... Ect. Thats where it loses all steam for me.
thats the fun part of the power level. All specializations welcomed and only Ms that a hero card specifically names (hence New prism has figments, OG does not.) basically read the card, play the card concept. Emperor's ability names CnC, so CnC counts as his specialization.
I also want to share this sentiment. The way he stares off when answering this question shares every emotion and feeling. He is literally seeing his zone while answering the question. That's intense.
Maybe this is a good place to ask this question. After building such a hype for the release of FaB in Japan, and then absolutely fumbling it, how is LSS going to adjust their strategy for the development of the Japanese market? While the “tourist experience” might have been acceptable, from what I gathered on the ground, for the Japanese players it was pretty awful. From the terrible organization, long delays, scarcity of product/seats for the WP, vendors ripping off new players, oficial products selling out the first day, not giving a chance to those who couldn’t make it, the general feeling was not positive, and new players, particularly, who were filling up armories leading up to this event, may have been driven off by the whole weekend. I, for one, was planning on going to worlds in Osaka later this year, but I *do not* want to repeat this terrible weekend. I sincerely hope that LSS will take action and make improvements for that event and that FaB will continue to grow in Japan somehow.
It seems you and a couple people had bad personal experience. However, most people had a great time based on overaching feedback I collected. Additionally, the issues you voiced are with the tournament organazier versus lss themselves. But this is still feedback that you should provide to LSS. Sorry for your bad experience, but this is not shared by most people who attended. The only actionable feedback here are the delays in side events that require improvement. Other than that, LSS does not manage the vendors. Vendors job is to sale product, they are not going to hold product for you or your friends. It is first come first served.
Loved his last story for sure! Also, I'm super biased since I head up the Clash Committee (that is made up of community members that spend a lot of time with the format), I think you would enjoy Clash alot. It feel like if you had the perfect draft deck smashing into another perfect draft deck... maybe a little more oomph behind them bc they can crazy sometimes.

Great interview, the end part about mental mind maps really resonated with me!
I'm always so grateful to get to hear these talks. Thanks Fluke for the work to put them together and James for being willing to do these.

I believe! Vynnset is so close. Eloquent Eulogy is a huge boost for us. Awesome interview Fluke / James. Thank you for this.
let's combine Vynnset brains

James biggest regret is mentioning PvE two years ago because he knows it's never coming.

Basement interrogation lol
Underrated comment we needed
Great interview Fluke. Very nice video and sound quality! Shame we didn't see your face this time 💙
I found my videos get more views without my face . I don’t know why

I know dw. But effort takes time. I just do what I want and let it be :)
James is such a stellar guy. So thankful he takes the time to just chat like this so regularly. Thanks to you both!

Best interview you ever ever done, Fluke. Really professional, informative, and well-curated.
Great interview as usual. You guys play of each other really well. Its like watching two mates chatting together down the pub over a pint
I kept waiting for James to read a list of the hostage takers demands
Personally, I'd want Cleric more than Necromancer, but I really believe you cannot release one of them without the other which is the nemesis.
James is such a legend. Love this man.
Awesome inteview - thanks John for getting this to us!
Please stop talking over James when you interview him.
Im here in this video after he cracked the Marvel Enigma from the Gold.❤ Hahaha eben more happy for you. Crazy… what will be the price on a Marvel Enigma New Moon?
$3.5k USD offered so far but its getting graded. might show it once I get the grades back
Great Information. Hope to see more Lore in the future! Cheers
Forgot to mention Alchemist... I need it 😢

Gold packs aren’t good for the game. They just add a challenge for lgs owners to deal with.

Marvel NEW MOON OH NO 🫣🫣🫣🫣
Ahaha this title took on a new meaning
Why is this labeled as an Apology Video?
Because of the way he’s framed it looks like a cancelled TH-camr apology video
Great video as always thank you. Miss ya dude!
I don't even play the game, but watched the whole thing lol. (i play yugioh/pokemon/magic/onepiece)
Thank you for watching!
