Looks like the Samuel Adams yard in Breinigsville PA. Had to drag many trailers out on the landing gear because they park the trailer too close to get to the handle
A lot of tight spots usually drop anywhere like others said. I would cruise around for the largest opening. Learning to put the landing gear down ahead of time will save me a lot of headache now 😁
I used to work at Rooms To Go Distribution Center and they used to stage containers this close. I shit you not and I would even see them scrap the containers as well.
2:30 If you're already at 90, and your front hub CAP is pointing directly at the center of your trailer tires, (the center of your drives is also pointed at the center of your trailer bogie), you can maintain the 90 indefinitely ..
I always used the 90° back when I pulled dry van I just preferred it. I always pulled 2 trailers past my spot to have a little more room for adjustments if needed. But not to much backing anymore pull low boy now.
@@MyTruckingSkills lmao! I never been to a drop yard but I pass by it all the time in Santa Fe springs and Vernon lol. I always ask myself, how the hell did they get that in there without damaging trailers haha.
Can you please make a video of how to back into a spot where you make a right turn into a lot and then the open space is on the left as soon as you come in before your trailer can straighten out?
Good, but you should have left parking spot in other color rather than the blind side, should have been easy to know the exact spot where you r backing.
@@MyTruckingSkillsyes you did. Also something one can do is either pull the kingpin before it gets too tight to reach it but gotta use common sense. If its down hill dont do that. Air release kingpin jaws are awsome for that situation....when they work...
@@MyTruckingSkills yeah you did. But how about if your hooking up and the trailers are too close like that? I’ve only had that situation once and the security wouldn’t let me hook to any other trailers to move them so I had to drag the trailer a little bit by hooking up on an angle.

Or the Colgate Palmolive in Cambridge, Ohio
This is those type of places where they tell you to drop the trailer anywhere, the yard jokey will put it in
thank you for the videos this is a great help after cdl school.
Thank you very mch men❤👍
It's definitely another one masterpiece of driving :) Thank you, teacher!
My pleasure
Another great video
Yessss! I hate those spots! So frustrating!
Cool little truck man 🚚. I park in places like that almost daily . Intermodal .

This is basically Protrans Laredo
Hi, did you get my email yesterday about the Volvo truck turning ratio and the wheelbase?
I miss the real world videos!
Me too but it just takes way too much time compared to these videos.
@@MyTruckingSkills I like those ones better we can see the whole picture
I’m sure a lot of trailers get scratched or hit a lot with drop yards like that.
Oh ya they do!!!!🤣🤣🤣🤣 All the time!!! No accountability

Easy level should be a CR England truck medium, swift, hard, GP transco. Then get them to sponsor your app.
Why would you say gp transco is hard? Thanks. I'm thinking of going to gp by the way

You'd have to draw it out for me

We got to deal with this everyday out here in LA CAlIFORNIA intermodal work yard are like this all unorganized and really tight nothing new .
Yup, took the pic at DCS in San Bernardino
The problem is getting the landing gear down when it’s too tight.
Thats when you leave room and drop the landing gear before your all the way in leave it a few inches off the ground then back in
I swore I mentioned that in the video

With blind spot feature on makes is hard to learn from your videos
It's teaching you to get out and look if you can't see what you need to see...
