I watched this video a few times before my G test in the Etobicoke location, and I passed. Thank you for the tips, it was quite helpful. The route is identical to the one in the video as of January 29th, 2024.

When in the highway acceleration lane, do i need to wait for end of lane to merge or merge as soon as I am at 100 ?
Also when turning right from outside turning lane (when double turning lane) do I turn on red or wait for green ?
As soon as you hit 100 merge safely and smoothly usually I’m on the 3rd of the acceleration lane

Do the testers tell you to change lanes back to the right or do you have to do that by yourself?
In Etobicoke, you need to merge twice to get into the highway, after that you don’t need to do anything until they give you a command just drive straight up

If red light ? Its allow to go?
Always stop on red. You can turn right on red but make sure you stop first and check for coming pedestrians and vehicles. Make sure there is no sign that you cannot turn right on red!

Passed my G exam today (March ‘24). No parallel parking / 3 point / city driving at all.
I was asked to take a left at eglinton / Renforth and join 427S. (Instead of taking a right at Renforth and driving through Eringate drive). Rest of the test was similar to what happens after joining 427S.

After a year of G2 test when we book G test, is there anything different. Is they ask for any parkings? I have test in July?
It is still modified up to now and there still no manoeuvres or parkings
When changing lanes on the highway should you slow down or maintain speed? What should you do if their are cars next to you. Is 80km okay when changing lanes on the highway. Thank you for this informative and very helpful video.
Maintain your speed. Don’t slow down. It’s safer if you speed up a little bit rather than slowing down. If there are cars next to you you have to decide if it’s safer to speed up ahead of him or ease off on the gas a bit to let him pass and switch lane safely after. Always assess and make a safe decision. If the hiway traffic is good don’t be slow 95-105 is ideal

From G1 to G-Full: this video was key for me to get my G license coming from G1 (previous driving Experience), these tips were definitely helpful to give the examiner confidence and show her my confidence when driving. I took some driving classes with Dennis, he was super clear and instructive providing not only tips but also pointing out driving weaknesses or simply bad driving habits from back home , and therefore a good amount of practice to improve. I can definitely say that those made the difference to tackle down G full first try !🎉

What about 100 enter to end line then there are a bit of trafic shoud i slown down before enter to the highway
If there is a bit of a traffic and you feel there is no need to be at 100 that’s better rather than speeding up so much then abruptly slowed down. Always manage your speed according to traffic flow
at 11:43 you said 105 km/h is okay, is that correct? I have a test next Tuesday and I'm still going 1 or 2 km above the speed limit sometimes. Should I be worried? I'm doing everything else correct.
You should be ok. Base on my experience No one fails for being a little faster than slower. Everyone drive faster than 105 😊

Also on the left turn to Burhamthorpe while exiting highway, I have noticed people behind me switching lanes to 3 or 4th lane directly which makes it harder for me to turn and switch two lanes. What would you recommend I do?

Hi Sir Den, when exiting eglington west, the suggested speed is 30kmh in yellow sign, i noticed it is very slow when i tried doing 30kmh in that part, can i go over a little bit more lets say 40kmh?
Yellow signs are warning signs black and white signs are law. You can go over five or 10.. the yellow signs are specifically for the trucks so they won’t flip over on the ramp. you may follow the signs when the weather is bad.

I slowed down a bit. Don’t stop unless there are pedestrians crossing

You can start as soon as you can. you can get those test done without waiting
its impossible to not fail in shitty etobicoke. i basically kept a safe distance in the highway but the shitty instructor failed me because i didnt reach 100 speed.
