My Nana treated people( never charged) with Prayer & poultices , she was incredible . I was so fascinated. I wish I would have had some of her gift. I became a Lic Massage Therapist and was told I had a gift for healing, I never claimed to heal anyone, I would pray for the Holy Spirit to work through me.

Call upon Her Spirit to guide You. I have been a massage therapist for 22 yrs and thought it was My Moms mom that was an influence when I first got licensed but did not realize until 3 yrs ago that it was My dad's mom and Heritage that gave Me the gift of touch and healing! I believe We are guided by Our Ancestors by EVERY Breath of Life given! I started having visions 3 yrs ago once I started back grounding(walking barefoot) and closing My eyes because SPIRIT told Me to during sessions. We read peoples energy with eyes open daily but closed will see deeper into the soul. The massage My Ancestors gifted Me with helps clense the chakras which is a vibrational rhythmic healing practice along side Lomi Lomi in which I have gained SO MANY GUIDES along the way❣🌞😇♾💫🤗❣

Modern medicine, western medicine at least, focuses on interfering with and overriding the body's own healing operations. Helpers, treaters, etc. Focus on supporting the body's self-healing abilities to get to the other side of an illness. Many ancient, and I mean ancient, remedies are only just now being "rediscovered" as possible treatments in western medicine.
Like chaga to aid with cancer treatments, the idea that gut health impacts everything from digestive issues to hormones balances and nuero-chemical productivity.
Traditional medicine workers might not be aware of the scientific reasoning for why it works, but they knew and still knkw that it does work.
There are some times when interfering with synthetics is appropriate, but doctors are now moving towards more holistic approaches because they're finding that modern medicine isn't healing patients, it's essentially covering symptoms and causing new illnesses from side effects of synthetic medications.
For example, in 2015 researchers at Nottingham University recreated a remedy from the lucnanga manuscript and thought it might have some minor supportive effects on viruses and bacteria, but after testing it, found it to be potent enough to kill the MRSA super bug. This is an Anglo-Saxon manuscript of medicine, so very old, but it still works.

@@donnakawana they just liked saving lives, helping people and had general knowledge of everything, they could predict the weather accurately by the movement and behavior of insects, birds and bugs. I would listen to them talking and catch some of the phrases concerning ants, birds, spider webs being set and they predictions were always right and I stored some in my memories and occasionally I'll try to see if I'm right. I only do fairly well, not that great. You have to be observant, they always paid attention to details.

This is real. When I lived in Crowley, LA back in the early 80's my son became ill with heat. I knew nothing about this as I was from Tennessee. My father-in-law said that we were going to take him to a healer, T-shal. He made it clear to me not to say "thank you" or offer money. He said the healing would not work if I did either of those. I was skeptical but willing to help my baby any way that I could. As soon as the healing was done we left and my son threw up at the door of the car before we got in to leave. He then became his usual, happy, playful self. It worked.
My second son got a boil that the pediatrician could not heal. Again we went deep in the swamps of Louisiana and met a lady who lived in a cajun house.....just like in the pictures. She prayed over my son and the following day the boil was gone, never to return.
It works. The AMA is for profit and experiment, it has nothing to do with healing.
Thank God for these beautiful Souls who love humanity over profit. 🙏

Look at what happens when we live and let live. When we remove the construct. We’re able to find the kingdom of God. Bless you all.

When I was in college. I became really ill. I came home for spring break. My mother who was a charge nurse took me to four different medical doctors who poked me but couldn't find out what was wrong with me.
Then she took me to a tribal Shaman. He was dressed in a three piece suit. He just talked to me about college. He didn't touch me. He told my mother that I had four impacted infected wisdom teeth and to take me immediately to a dental surgeon. That was what was exactly wrong with me.
My uncle got mad that my mother took me to our tribal Shaman. I told him that I was glad she took me to him because the other four doctors couldn't even find out what was wrong with me but now I am well. My uncle didn't argue any more after I said that.

But I found out long ago the medical system was not interested in spiritual root healing. So Nini Na Nini entrusted us with healing. Every herb, flower, bush of plant medicine was given to us from So Nini Na Nini (I Am That I Am). This knowledge is as old as Adam and Eve and it indeed accomplish what The Most High Creator created it for.

I remember as a child I use to have bladder, kidney and UTI's often. I was always on antibiotics. I didn't realize it was from Mr Bubbles bubble bath. I asked the doctor was there something natural that I could take he said no. I went to my Granny's house and she gave me real cranberry juice. The thick unsweetened stuff. She had 3 cans in her cellar. She told me to drink that only no water until it was gone. I went back to the doctor and had him test me. He said the infection was gone. I said are you sure. He said yes. I then showed him the unused antibiotics.

I enjoyed this documentary. Faith and herbal medicine have been healing people for centuries. Modern medicine has codified it and fine turned the chemistry. One day hopefully the two genres can meet somewhere in the middle. As a cancer survivor, it would have been a blessing to have a treater visit me to help me through the pain of anxiety and fear.

These peoples have a sincere gift. They have the personal traits of real healers. A sincere desire to help others, a faith-based personality and no desire to become famous or rich from what they do. I was raised around this sort of faith healing and learned to do it, however I would never advise anyone to avoid conventional medicine. That would be irresponsible and cruel, Remember that counseling is a major component of this sort of sacred work. Having said this, I have seen folk medicine work on adults, children and animals. As for having "faith," an infant or a animal cannot have faith, and yet it works. There are such people in other cultures as well. My maternal great-grandfather was a animal healer. Friends, if it works, why argue with or about it? One bit of advice: If you look for such a person and encounter someone who wants anything more than a simple thank you, run don't walk away from them. They are frauds and criminals and not real healers.

Ever since I was young I had a fascination with herbal remedies and I went to a church that believed in faith healing (though I believe these treaters were way more humble.)
Here in my twenties I've begun to realize how bad I want to be a medicine woman and help people with prayer and herb. I pray this will come true one day.

So glad this came through my feed! We all are our own healers created from the most high. We're all energy/spiritual beings. The higher your vibration, all the better. God put everything on Earth that we need and much luv to those who are healing others naturally. I'm so glad to see more ppl are becoming more spiritual and using Folk/holistic remedies for healing today. Faith is key.
Idk what it is about a Creole/cajun accent, but I luv it❤❤❤

I’m born and raised in South Carolina and I know my great gma who’s still alive btw would treat lots of people especially if someone was burned bad or had warts or babies that had thrash she’d do what’s called “talk the fire out” and people would swear the pain left and the burn no matter how bad would heal without a scar or trace anything was there. She’d blow smoke and pray over babies and their thrash would be gone by night or early next morning. She done so much more and people come from miles to see her and she’d always know exactly why they were there without them saying anything. My gma her daughter is gifted with the ability to see if your pregnant what you’ll have what they’ll be and look exactly like and she’s never been wrong. Southern culture is different and sadly almost a thing that’s extinct but I’m glad I lived to see these things with my own eyes. God bless these people

My mother took me to a local healer when I was a baby because I had thrush. The lady took me into a back room for a few minutes, then came out and gave me back to my mom. Told her it would be gone by the next morning. It was. The lady's name was Miss Mandy Alexander, of Scott County Mississippi. Long gone but not forgotten. ✌️
