Loved this! Never heard the other verses to the theme song. It was a wonderful show. I just recently watched the Christmas episode that ended with the night shots of the Cannonball with Christmas carols! Always brings a tear!
This train is (or was) easy to assemble, first, find a Tyco Rogers 4-6-0 locomotive, actually modeled after Sierra #3. Second find the MDC Roundhouse 34’ “Overton” coach and combine, these also were modeled after the same cars from the Sierra, they even “admitted”that in the instruction sheets.
Would love to model the Cannonball in G Scale! Any suggestions as it seems to be quite difficult to find steam engines in G Scale after ARISTO-CRAFT went out-of-business quite a few years ago.😢
