"There's something beautiful about dressing like a grownup to do something childish". Indeed.

*AS A TAILOR* of bespoke mens historical suits - I LOVE your suits...
I literally just broke off from making a pair of 1930's "Oxford Baggs" in vintage cloth to watch a bit of TH-cam when I saw this video...
EDIT: I noticed your suits are usually of a heavy cloth - 16-22oz - which is very vintage, and presumably explained by the origin story you just told, you are recreating a past.

Oooh I love an oxford bag. And yeah, lots of the suits in the video are on the heavier and tweedier side - I do have a bunch that aren't, but i think I mostly picked those because they looked the best and the most different to each other on camera..

*I LOVE THE FACT THAT* Im also late diagnosed autistic and I literally can not catch a ball if its thrown to me - we are NOT all the same, we are our own unique weird little people...
    Just like "normal" people.

Those cut transitions were marvellous. The last one with your hat was my favourite, too. Your videos are wonderful.
I'm transgender as well as autistic, and your description of suits as "armour" is not unlike how I feel about wearing makeup and clothing that aligns with my identity. It is reassurance of who I am, and that while decided by me, autonomously, doesn't necessarily feel internal in the way that reciting a mantra might. It's an outward expression of personality and choices. It's manufactured confidence with actual tangibility.
    Thank you for the video.

I love how casually you do the thing with the hat. 😂 Also, nice to see all your fine outfits.

Loved all the transitions between the outfits! I bought a suit as a younger man that sadly no longer fits. Maybe it's time to see if there are any thrifted ones in my size.

Ahhh yes, I'm very familiar with that situation. I always have some suits which dont fit right now, but might again at some point haha

Quite funny that I normally do not dress like my profession when out busking, still nice and with attention, but not in a gown. That way I hope I and my art is more accessible to those who have a pre-conceived idea that might be a barrier. I love nice frocks, like your clothes most of mine are second hand as same background and issues, but they are not practical for everyday wear. So on a stage yes, in the street I'll stick to smart casual.
I also understand the 'rules' to deal with neurodiversity. My rules are obviously different but they are there.
    Lovely video as always.

Thank you. I really enjoy your videos. I can relate to what you say about clothing being our armour when performing in public. May I say you look very dapper in your armour!

Great style, Mr R! I concur entirely, it is great fun matching your accessories and shoes and the idiosyncrasies of how to wear different styles of suit. I'm rarely without at least a blazer.

I love how you dress, and how you combine it with your show. And your explanation really inspires me.

Did you also change your trousers in that opening suit sequence...?!? 😂 (Really nicely done BTW!)

I loved your hat trick in the beginning. Great start for the video! And - you look really sharp.
Finding the rules on how to dress well and right is still a riddle to this female autist of advanced age.
Could you please make a video on how you educated yourself about this topic?

does leaving a comment really help the performance of videos so much? (I'm only saying this so I can leave a comment to help the performance of this video)

It totally does. And when I reply, that also counts as a comment and helps the algo.. ;)
