I love looking for Professor Kuhn's issue but he ignores cause he knows to save his breath for something good or the future.
Personally, I thank you both for the great works you are still doing. The sun com3s to fulfil its part in our lives, wicked or righteous. Professor Brian Swimme, walk with a clenched fist, no words, and look straightforward. The heart needs your hands and fingers. Don't run. Just walk with clenched fists. The hands and fingers are not for holding chalk/white board marker, books, cooking food, using the computers, caressing you beautiful wife, fighting, including bathing, but it's mainly built for your heart's replenishment. You knew it was right when you kept looking at your arms. Hence, in Jesus name, Allah, or sitting down for meditation doesn't send deep breath in the tissues without vibrations and longsuffering walks. Each step you take stacks both strength and breath in the bones and inner major muscles and in the 7 endocrine systems. When you fingers are clenched into a strong fist 👊🏿 ✊️ 🤛 🤜 💪 😳 👊🏿 ✊️ you feel the strength moving gently as it continues to stack up till it reaches the arms, biceps, triceps and those major muscles and organs close to the heart. Your upper is self-controlled by you as are your lower limbs enduring for you as you feel every bit of muscles and organs receiving first class treatment. The earth is like your kneading bowl 🥣 to your soles' nerve endings........like the water source to a plant. The longer you work the deeper your breaths go in. Under the sun, just as stomata opens up by day to receive its own share of invincible vitamin, so do you. Since you are close to retirement and you still have more books to write, leaving your insights for us to develop, being your children, I strongly believe you have seen it all and are willing to your best work from now hence forth. Please, sir, walk with clenched fists in the campus and do not carry anything on your back or pocket. Remain as free as possible and show your children and grandchildren. Did you wife squeeze your hands when giving birth? Have you observed a child's clenched hands?.......this was the beginning of their growth. Do you see what soldiers do when marching? These are just a few you can incorporate during your longsuffering walks. We Give, Order/Observe, and Develop. It is always process. Learning is a process......so is ensemble of statistics and endurance of the lower limbs.

I think Swimme does an excellent job of making us aware of the positive miracle of life. And just how much we as a species have accomplished collectively. The only point on which I disagree utterly is his idea that we should have a single world wide polity. That strikes me as the ultimate tyranny and I believe that the darker angels of our nature are present in us precisely to destroy any such hell. I’m grateful to the chimp in me that instinctively is repelled by the idea and wants to tear it to pieces. In my minds eye I see the little bits of ageless synthetic cloth and bits of bone beneath my feet as I walk the Killing Fields in Cambodia. That’s harsh, and I really like Swimme’s book cosmogenesis, because all that positive potential is there too, and I emphatically agree that all the great wisdom traditions of the past need to be reborn in the future if we are to regain the possibility of transcendence. Thank you both for a great interview.

There are an infinite number of possibilities which means there are an infinite number of earths and an infinite number of the same us out there which means your next life will always determine how you live your current life.

Humbly I appreciate and sympathize with the Noosphere and universal consciousness. Except his denial of the role of spontaneity in the evolution of "universal/cosmological habitat of information".
Before you start the Hades or earth Journey, use Apollos or cool water to keep your body in equilibrium, so that you won't have to suffer harm from Zeus the daylight and sun, king of the heavens while wandering for miles and hours nonstop. 3 hours is a game changer...6 hours and then massage your feet with your hands. The pain you feel all over and in your body will be converted into a new body and new mind aka new insight.

Matter gave birth to life, he says.
Since he deifies matter, what exactly is matter? What qualties, properties does matter have? How did matter generate life? Because he posits matter as principle, how does matter subsist? What are forms? How does matter give being?
It has an enate disposition to continue or survive which when coupled with evolution creates complexity. It creates complexity to make survival more relevant or more of a possibility and is historical. This is why a dinosaur was and is conscious.
Its the reverse position of God almost meaning they have it back to front, the vision of God is a postulate of survival into the future and the afterlife is a postulate of survival into the unknown or death.
Without this disposition or character life itself has no meaning or trajectory.
Every structure in human body is and is for the soul purpose of survival of material including consciousness which is abstract version or mental attitude of survival. Every form or bit is survival manifest in material form in any structure or most if you want to get technical. Consciousness is no different except the brain creates it and it is more relevant in larger structures or more complexity.

Pure Consciousness and Pure Awareness are inseparable; they are one. Pure Consciousness does not change and remains eternally the same as the most fundamental 0-point field, nothingness, background, ground, layer, and source of potentials/possibilities. Pure Awareness changes and becomes everything (to clarify, Pure Awareness does not actually change; it is already everything. It only appears to change due to the existence of spacetime-past, present, and future-and dimensions such as height, width, length, and movement/motion or flow, as well as measurements, etc., which is part of everything).
Don't be confused about this.
Pure Consciousness is a 0-point field or 0-layer as a field of possibilities. (Know that even if it is zero or nothingness, it is still existence, and this nothingness is not empty.)
Pure Awareness is everything, but this everything is in a nothingness state or an invisible formless wave. The everything... Imagine that the present is the only reality, and we call it the present because we have the concept of the past and future, which are part of everything.
Now, what have you observed about Pure Awareness?
It is confusing, right?
The Pure Awareness changes and becomes everything, but the Pure Awareness does not actually change; it is already everything.
If no one is observing the Pure Awareness, it is like a state of nothingness or an invisible wave.
This invisible wave is capable of becoming everything, but it is already everything.
It creates contradictions because in everything it includes spacetime, the past, present, and future, which creates the observable beginning of the universe and becomes everything that we observe today in the present.
This is what will happen if you focus only on the physical observable universe; you will always go round and round between egg to chicken and chicken to egg.
Here's how to solve it.
Imagine you see the egg and chicken exist at the same time, and someone is telling you and asking you, What is the first egg or chicken?
Now, focus on the present. What exists within the present is both an illusion and reality (both illusion and reality because it is present, and we have a concept of past and future; that's why we name and label the [nothingness/formless/timeless] as present). Now let's go back to chicken and eggs. First, if you say the egg, it is wrong, and if you say the chicken, it is wrong too. The answer is both egg and chicken; the responsible is the invisible field of possibilities-the Pure Consciousness field itself is the most fundamental. This field becomes observable field because of Pure Awareness; it becomes the concept of the present because there's the concept of the past and future. Because there's the existence of everything that already exists, and it appears there's a beginning and an end because of the existence of spacetime, the past, present, and future.
If you want to solve what is first between the egg and the chicken, you must think outside the box, outside of the spacetime concept, have boundless awareness, and be a free thinker.
You must think about what the invisible background or invisible field is-the field of possibilities-that everything can exist at the same time, that everything is already there.
Think about what the invisible, timeless, nothingness background is. It is a background, a field, the source of possibilities to exist the other fields to put and exist the egg and chicken.
The Pure Consciousness as the most fundamental existence is the 0-point field.
Pure Awareness is the theory of everything appearing as the observable fields.
Let's just say there's nothingness.
In nothingness, there's existence, and that is the nothingness itself.
Existence is existence.
Existence is equal to the existence of possibilities, or everything.
Nothingness is impossible.
Nothingness is not empty, because nothingness is there.
There's always existence.
The existence can't be erased, deleted, or destroyed; it will always be there eternally.
Remember that even if it is nothingness or empty, it is still an existence, so it is not empty. This existence is equal to the existence of possibilities.
That is the Pure Consciousness as a field of possibilities. It remains a nothingness field, formless, timeless, and eternal, the source of potentials/possibilities, an existence that can't be erased, deleted, or destroyed.
If you only focus on physical observable reality, you will only go round and round between egg to chicken and chicken to egg. An infinite loop.
But if you notice the nothingness field of possibilities, the nothingness field behind the existence of the other fields that put the existence of egg and chicken, You will be free from looping, and you will see every possibility of existence within the field of nothingness.
Note: The hard problem of Consciousness and loops is that you can't solve it if you are only focused inside of spacetime. Think outside the box, outside of the spacetime concept.
Note: Incomplete and Experimental Observation Through Awareness

The future of humanity would be very dark, possibly extinction... Here is why, as follows :
...because the theory of evolution promotes the idea of ACCIDENTAL EXISTENCE which means you are never at fault, never accountable for whatever you are, or whatever you do, as all just consequences of ACCIDENT...
...in other words, if you are strong and powerful, there is nothing that can hold you to use your power to do whatever your heart desires regardless who gets hurt because, to you, doing right or wrong, moral or immoral, is just pure SUPERSTITION being just a product of ACCIDENTAL Evolution garbage....
..and so, a Godless World would become the arena of battles between the strong and the powerful where wars never end until we all go extinct...
Science and technology, without the guidance of faith that we are all children of a loving God, can be just a tool for greedy demonic souls to get all what they desire that may lead to DOOMSDAY....
..and the more this WORLD abandons faith in God in favor of Darwin's IGUANA as the Original Mama, the closer the minute-hand reaches at midnight of Armageddon...

I agree with Swimme that the universe has an underlying "story," and that humanity is currently experiencing a species-wide technological epoch, but I don't believe this automatically translates to a "harmonious development" type of outcome.
When technology is advancing faster than our capacity to handle / control it and ideologues are deciding what type of information is allowable and which should be censored, then we should expect a period of chaos and destruction before we ever reach any type of global harmony.
And my version of the "Story" is that the universe has a minimal amount of intelligence (orchestration) embedded within it that has ultimately evolved into self-aware humans. However, like everything else, ... orchestration and intelligence must be tested.
... "Existence" must be justified!
We are the current face of "Existence." WE are that embedded core intelligence brought to life in physical form. If we can't keep our species in line using the extreme amount of intelligence that we currently have, ... then that's a dark spot on the face of "Existence."
I'm basically an optimist, I think humanity can achieve a sustainable civilisation and that it is possible for us to live in relative peace with each other. Just look at Europe now compared to how it was 100 years ago, all the nations once at each other's throats get along just fine, er, except Russia. So 'world peace' is possible, even likely, but it's not inevitable. We have to actually do the work to make it happen. Likewise with environmental sustainability, I think it's doable it's just a matter of how much of nature goes down the toilet before we achieve it. What's the alternative, unsustainability? That doesn't sound like it would end well.

... There's optimism, pessimism, ... and then there's _realism._ The majority of people today see a world in total chaos. Nobody I talk to ever says, _"Things are looking up!"_ And, as a reminder, WW1 was supposed to be the _"war to end all wars."_ People can't even recognize the difference between male and female and "ideological agendas" are _calling the shots_ for governments, businesses, science, and the arts.
Back in the 80's I thought more like you do now, but when society no longer operates via logic, it's going to take something *extremely dramatic* to get humanity back on the rails.
The sudden loss of 85% of the world's population might be that catalyst. A world orchestrated by the remaining15% who then *recognizes the consequences* for human arrogance might have a shot at saving humanity. Even then, nothing is for certain. Some "revisionist" might end up spinning that type of horrible event to forward yet another ideological agenda.
... Reality says that the current trajectory for the survival of humanity is downward. And unless that trajectory is reversed, you should expect the worst.

They’re objectively wrong. Global poverty has declined by over 95% since the 1960s. The number of people in the global middle class has increased by a billion since the early 1990s. Global deaths per population from warfare has collapsed to historically never before seen lows since the fall of the Soviet Union, even the wars in Tigray and Ukraine barely moved the needle on that compared to the conflicts of the past.
News media always focuses on wars and disasters and such. Spanish Flu killed from 25-50 million people, Coronavirus killed maybe 6 million I think in a global population more than 3 times larger. Turns out vaccines are pretty handy tech.
So I think I have decent reasons to be optimistic.

The problem is this you would have to determine why a dinosaur brain or consciousness could be in heaven or why it wouldn't be which is ridiculous to say. Then you would have to postulate why each creature from that time until would or would not be in heaven and then justify that position.
They just didn't have the right information then and were ignorant of the causes like evolution so made postulations on survival as a historical premise. Then they double down positions or dumb down others with new postulates in defence of that ignorance. Like I say you would have to give justification or have positions on each soul of dinosaur and entity and then determine how they would be in heaven if it exists .
This is why concious agent or entity is more precise if thats what you really want. A survival relic of the brain or abstract disposition of survival to promote survival.
