Update June 2022: It was confirmed this store opened in December 1990 which means they are NOT the first Road Stage since Jonesboro, GA opened before them.
Oh! So that's why it's called the “Road Stage”. It had a road decoration and the plastic box stands the band are on were supposed to be buildings by the roadside. I honestly never realized that till now. >.
@@Big_Chuck_Officialsame here. I'd never even a version swith the street ion front of the characters (though I'd *HEARD* that's what it was supposed to look like.
its kind of a shame that there are very few road stages left back in 2018 i went to two different road stages in two different states and both of them were in disrepair
I really like the look of this, the road reminds me of innoventions at Epcot a little, my only complaint is that the animatronics seem to be on the floor, there is no raised stage, making it easier for kids to get at em, other than that, I like it a lot.
Pasqually: but what do you do when you’re at the zoo and a kangaroo takes your homework from you? Kids: A kangaroo?! Chuck e: pasqually is on drugs. Whoops wow hoo wee
Some fans just say things bc other ppl said it one time and so they assume it must be true. It doesn't make sense to me they opened with a rocker, got the road stage the next year, and then the 1-Stage 2-3 years later.
Yeah ikr! During the early 90's a lot of stores had the old PTT cosmetics and hand setups for Munch and Pasqually. My local store that closed in Union, NJ had that hand setup and PTT cosmetics until 1993 or 94!
looks like whoever filmed this did so while it was still being installed, (notice the valance above the stage hadn't been installed yet. I noticed on a video filmed a few years later they changed the stage to a 2-stage.
Cool! Both those stores have closed now unfortunately (Springfield demolished this store and rebuilt it in 2012) but they were both really cool classic looking CEC stores when they were opened
Mississauga has the first final version of the road stage (that still has it to this day) and Springfield PA had the first prototype Road stage (then it was a 2 stage, now is a circle of light with animatronic)

so if this is not the first roadstage then why does it have like a test stage thing
@@stanthesingingfish Jonesboro had the exact same setup the first few Road Stages had this setup in 1990
ohhhhhhhhhhhhhhh ok
So this is the second Road stage??

Well if the stands that the characters are on are supposed to be buildings the how come the buildings or stands are small and the characters are big
Yeah pretty sure it would creep someone out
I feel like the roadstage would have been easier for them to take care of cause its only half like PTT Days.
But Apparently not.
They should’ve had curtains on Road Stages back then.
Edit: (Sees the road on the bottom) never mind.
Some did
Cec blender in real life
Birthday Extravaganza 1990 needs a wider release
This version gives it a more road look but the new one I never knew why it’s called a road stage until now
its kind of a shame that there are very few road stages left back in 2018 i went to two different road stages in two different states and both of them were in disrepair

Yeah but that made it unique
Pretty much all road stages I know of are low to the ground
my local one's not really, west hills is a good step off the ground
@@weirdguy5005 Some 2-stages are like a couple feet off the ground
west hills is a road stage
Guy in the costume seemed like he was struggling lol
Omg it look so nice
Pasqually: but what do you do when you’re at the zoo and a kangaroo takes your homework from you? Kids: A kangaroo?! Chuck e: pasqually is on drugs. Whoops wow hoo wee
In this location, Helen has a different mask from the finalized 90s-present mask.
It’s so nice
i like the old school chuck
This when before the tv was moved to by side chuck e and the tv was replaced by the mmbb logo also pasqually's pizza was removed.
Yaaaaa I got loved big chuck yaaaaaaaaaaaa
Fun Fact : I was in this footage but I was playing games
This location closed in 2012 and was demolished then rebuilt and reopened the same year.
Yeah man i wish i was born in the 2000s because the newer chuck e cheese is kinda boring but i still enjoy it there
This is a good road stage. I like the road part and the cec neon sign
That’s great!
0:00 ZAPPP BOOM!!!!!!
Oh wow!
OMG back in the day Chuck E. Cheese speakers must’ve been legendary
This video is dubbed
I like how the road stage is like they are in a box
So that's what CEC Blender's stage was based on!
Wow! Interesting!
Love It
Are those buildings behind the characters? Because there boxes look identical to the back grounds
Yes it’s supposed to be like a stage out on the road so there’s buildings and stuff in the background
So what are the boxes. Are they city bulidings too or they're just boxes
@@PrimeStoneToons are the city buldings
@@1989_taylorsversion Oh
I got question mate witch booths they use you know the chairs?

Wow a road stage
Cool
I think this and Levittown were the only road stages in PA
Levittown opened with a Rocker and I don’t think they ever had a Road Stage tbh. (They have a newer wink as well)
@@Big_Chuck_Official the list on rpz says it was but then again it says places like glen burnie and silver spring were road stages, when they were ptt

Also Glen Burnie opened as a Showbiz Pizza in August 1990
@@Big_Chuck_Official i couldve sworn they were ptt (they had the ptt masks unless they still used those on 1990s rocker stages)

Thxs for telling me big chuck
Cause it is
Umm srry big chuck i did not know what i was spelling this is what i mean munch and pasgualy are playing there instruments wrong there
I used see this type of road stage in the Costa Mesa location
Oh that's my local so it had a prototype road stage then a 2 stage then a studio c alpha so dobyou have any proof
Or your mixing it up with placentia or la mirada
Are you sure because they opened in 1993 and road stages stopped being produced in 1992
Is it just the old VHS recording or did every CEC back in the day have lighting this gorgeous?
Both
It was cause they dimmed the lights in the showrooms, they don’t do that anymore to cut costs

I wonder how long that road stage was around for?

Visit The Channel Pizzacam. He has all the songs they sung including these ones

1990
This opened in December 1982 as a ptt because of the road sign of the store
What are you talking about? This store was originally a Celebration Station and didn't open as a CEC until December 1990.

the sign in 1990 was the Chuck E CHEESE PIZZA logo so yea Random stuff 2
What's the song called
The other is called segment the is called Chuck e place
Why does it not have curtains
It's a road atage
Because mr munch ate them
how come at the end of the video it was beginning to play having a party thats a live show
Because that’s what’s on the original footage?
It’s “Treat Em Like You Want To Be Treated”, which was the first song to use the instrumental that Havin A Party used,

From experience, I think you get the community tab once you reach 1,000 subscribers.
Seth Horst yeah I’ve know that for a long time.
Did this location survive
It didn’t. The road stage didn’t survive, the 2 stage didn’t survive, and they relocated in 2012.
They didn’t relocate they demolished the whole building and rebuilt it in the same spot and opened
