As a CEO, you should have a passive income which is your RETURN on the Investment made by buying cards and upgrading it and also have a bulky balance at bank. As a CEO it's not adviceable to use all your resources(coin balance) to buy cards. My opinion though.

It means the card has reached the expiration date. So it has been taken away.
The cards have a validity period, you can’t upgrade them anymore after they’ve expired. This doesn’t apply to all cards. I hope this helps
