The offense showed up and the bullpen continues to stress. Matt Vierling, Colt Keith, Kerry Carpenter, Carson Kelly, and Spencer Torkelson all hit home runs.

Brieske is the reliever I trust most. Not because he has not given up an earned run since his call up, but, because off his pitching in Toledo, his Spring Training stats and the promise he showed last season. He's the real deal.

Compare Colt Keiths swing in april to may. In april he didnt reach back in fact moved bat downward, the last 3 weeks hes reaching back to gain momentum and create seperation, similar to a backswing in various sports. This is how he swung in AA Erie, why he then changed in Toledo and Detroit I have no idea. So I look for him to continue to improve and do well. As for Vreiling, in my view this is like a mirage, he hit hangers served up by a #23 ranked pitching staff. Vreiling is a 5 for 50 waiting to happen.
The only hanger vierling saw was the walk off, his other hits were on solid pitches

That is their pattern. Blow a team out (usually on the road), and then lose the next 2 or 3. Maybe scoring a ton at home will switch the narrative.
