If Australia has stook it out this long with a prison like country they might as well wait a little longer till everyone is vaccined. If the world economy crashes hard enough it will make covid look like childs play, war famine, all sorts of disasters.

Follow the money. Ivermectin is a generic drug with low profit margins. The Gates’ funded WHO and their co-conspirators at the CDC and the media would not want to negatively impact the profit margins of their partners in their big pharma investments with competition from cheap competition. We’ve been played.

@@stephenwilliams383 An effective early treatment and prophylaxis for COVID-19 would invalidate the legitimacy of having Emergency Use Authorizations for COVID-19 vaccines. Since governments are essential owned by the pharmaceutical industries and other corporate interest, that is who they serve, not their citizens. Additionally, governments want more control over their citizens, and vaccine passports will provide a path toward gaining the control.

One should give the WHO a brief primer on epidemiologic practice. You strictly isolate an affected area BEFORE a pathogen can escape and travel. Waiting until the pathogen has traveled to at least 30 countries and saying it requires more research before declaring it a variant of concern is bad practice.

    • @rdizzy1
      @rdizzy1 3 ปีที่แล้ว +13

You should realize though that on a massive world wide political platform, they need to make sure with a very high likelihood that the specific variants ARE worse than the current variants infecting said countries, prior to making any official statements. They will have worse issues if they isolate countries and end up being wrong (and therefore issue these statements incorrectly, causing economic harm to the area for essentially nothing). All of the economic blowback will then be on them, probably resulting in many of them being shit canned. Thus, they don't make definitive statements until the evidence is (or at least seems to be)... definitive.

The indian B.1.617 variant is really quite transmissible. Pro-activeness is really adivsable. It's causing notable clusters here in Singapore despite tough restrictions. That's with 21-day quarantine for travellers from India, a bluetooth proximity based tracking app/physical token contact tracing solution that is widely used in the society, 50% workforce work from home, 5 pax max in groups, 99.x % universal masking, distancing, reduced home/social visitations etc, biweekly active surveillance PCR tests for some industry sectors like marine and also for all of our 300K+ migrant worker living in dormitories and also ring-fencing clusters by testing tens of thousands of people around those clusters.
With the older wild type, we managed to control it till 0-1 cases daily (mostly zero actually). We had a few cases of UK B.1.1.7 spread back in January due to breakthrough with incoming travellers but we managed to snuff that out even.

I would disagree; two months ago vitamin D would have been a good thing to help in reducing the transmission in the cities. But it's too late for that in the cities, vitamin D levels can take weeks to raise. In the villages it likely to be no help anyway as it's summer and outside work is common.

      Abstract
Ivermectin is a macrolide antiparasitic drug with a 16-membered ring that is widely used for the treatment of many parasitic diseases such as river blindness, elephantiasis and scabies. Satoshi ōmura and William C. Campbell won the 2015 Nobel Prize in Physiology or Medicine for the discovery of the excellent efficacy of ivermectin against parasitic diseases. Recently, ivermectin has been reported to inhibit the proliferation of several tumor cells by regulating multiple signaling pathways. This suggests that ivermectin may be an anticancer drug with great potential. Here, we reviewed the related mechanisms by which ivermectin inhibited the development of different cancers and promoted programmed cell death and discussed the prospects for the clinical application of ivermectin as an anticancer drug for neoplasm therapy.
      Graphical abstract
Ivermectin has powerful antitumor effects, including the inhibition of proliferation, metastasis, and angiogenic activity, in a variety of cancer cells. This may be related to the regulation of multiple signaling pathways by ivermectin through PAK1 kinase. On the other hand, ivermectin promotes programmed cancer cell death, including apoptosis, autophagy and pyroptosis. Ivermectin induces apoptosis and autophagy is mutually regulated. Interestingly, ivermectin can also inhibit tumor stem cells and reverse multidrug resistance and exerts the optimal effect when used in combination with other chemotherapy drugs.

Which of these truths, based on true facts that Dr Polyakova mentions, explicitly and implicitly have frightened you to the extent of removing the text from the BMJ?
      1. Covid vaccines are experimental and only under rapid temporary regulatory approval.
      2. There is lack of data about them.
      3. There is insufficient reporting of vaccine adverse events. Dr Polyakova writes that she was ‘struggling’ to understand ‘the failure to report the reality of the morbidity caused by our current vaccination programme . . .’
      4. Vaccines harm even young and healthy people to the extent that hospitalisation is needed in some cases.
      5. In some cases vaccines induce neurological symptoms.
      6. Vaccines do not protect from contracting the virus: ‘I have direct experience of staff contracting Covid after vaccination and probably transmitting it.’
      7. [Covid] vaccines are pointless and dangerous, do more harm than good - ‘it is clearly stated that these vaccine products do not offer immunity or stop transmission. In which case [,] why are we doing it?’
      8. In some cases vaccines impact adversely on the immediate health of recipients.
      9. The long-term adverse effects are still unknown and nobody knows how they will affect the health service: ‘There is no longitudinal safety data (a couple of months of trial data at best) available and these products are only under emergency licensing. What is to say that there are no longitudinal adverse effects that we may face that may put the entire health sector at risk?’
      10. Mandating of unlicensed, experimental vaccines on the health care workers or members of the public is in the realms of Adolf Hitler’s dystopia - ‘Coercion and mandating medical treatments on our staff, of members of the public especially when treatments are still in the experimental phase, are firmly in the realms of a totalitarian Nazi dystopia and fall far outside of our ethical values as the guardians of health.’
Dear Madam, experts in in totalitarianism say that at the moment when the editorial office fights against the truth we begin to enter the sphere of certain actions, which bear the hallmark of a totalitarian system.

@MRGRUMPY53 not peer reviewed YET! The trials are ongoing, so it's difficult to review a trial that is ongoing. All they can do is comment on the data so far. Not everyone has access to the vaccines yet. Ivermectin had also been used to treat patients who've already contracted Covid19. Doctors have been repurposing drugs and going off label all along during this pandemic. It's been considered 'compassionate care' because nothing has been readily approved yet for treating Covid19 patients. Some doctors throw the kitchen sink at patients and other doctors give nothing because nothing has been approved.

@MRGRUMPY53 among all medicines on trial around the world, only ivermectin is the one I consider in lack of anything else. So many trials, so many indications it is useful, and so little chance to be harmful. In a world where the fucking west bought all the vaccines like greedy animals, we have to consider anything that helps the immune system and also less dangerous meds that actually helps if any. Especially cheap ones would be useful. I have not seen any signs of ivermectin being a hoax/failure still. There is a reason there is more and more trials checking it. I see not one single reason to not use it in my situation. And no, I would not use for example hydroxychloroquine. To me it seem to be a different story with ivermectin. What is the main reason to not take it? And what do you recommend when you have no access to any vaccines and potential no hospital treatment? Vitamin D?

Just a quick note from a german vaccine center:
Got my first jab of BioNTech yesterday. I asked the doctor if she could "do it with aspiration". The doctor replied that she is not allowed to do it, because the vaccine is very sensitive. The fear is that the aspiration would destroy the hull of the MRNA.
Is this a valid argument against doing the aspiration?

No. This is bull. The time between aspiration and injection is too short to make a difference unless the vaccinator aspired blood and has to prepare a new injection site in which case the vaccination should start all over again with a new dose in a new syringe.

Interesting! It didn't seem to bother the Danish government. My relatives in Canada all had nurses aspirating, because "that's how they were trained" to administer inter-muscular injections.

Your concern is understandable. It’s important to be balanced though. If community transmission is low in your area and those around you are vaccinated, there’s little reason to not hug or take off masks.

" We need to help our cousins and our good friends in India."? I regularly do a Google search for "covid cases [country name]", specifically looking at countries where !vƐƦMƐϲϯ!ŋ has been adopted. The effect is dramatic and consistent. Belgian virologist Marc Wathelet Ph.D., proposed a plan to his government that can be found by searching for, "A plan to eradicate SARS-CoV-2 from Belgium and Emergency Trial proposal for !vƐƦMƐϲϯ!ŋ." Wathelet proposes the eradication of this virus can be done in as little as six weeks!

Dr john, I dont think we should worry too much about variants. The expert virologist on the you tube channel twiv, have no concerns what so ever about the varients, amy and Vincent discuss it regularly. They are annoyed by the medias narrative on it. I would tend to believe virologists with 20 plus years experience on this over the bbc etc
