It is such a pleasure to watch you turn Glenn. This is a beautifully done video. The close ups showing exactly how you hold the tool and manipulate the edge to achieve the desired cut are very helpful for turners learning the craft. Thanks for a very educational video.

I have a question... what do you use on the platter when you are sanding it?
Mineral oil. It keeps the dust down. Makes the sandpaper very effective as it stop it from clogging and is is a great finish for a piece which will be in contact with food.
Glenn...how do you make the decision of when to dry sand vs. when to wet sand? How about for bowls...same?
Hi Glenn. I note in your shorter videos you often go start to finish in green wood. Is that for ease of demonstration since I know you use your kiln for your production line. Are there any times you go from start to finish in green wood rather than roughing first?
Good observation. I do dry everything in the kiln and bend the rules for demonstration purposes.
