Im letting you know right now the greatest teacher is uncle iroh.
Guy was way too proud that he allowed lee to use not one, but 2 forbidden techniques in a chunnin exam and should have stopped the match before lee was crippled.
And the fact that guy only had about less then 10 fights and hardly had any appearance in the series other then the most important moments like kisame and madaras fight
All might is bad at teaching and hardly ever tries to make the lessons to help midoriya, despite being his successor. In fact his vestigies are better teachers then him. Another bad example is allowing him to get beaten really bad and taking his exam too seriously that injured his back really bad. And hes only ever been shown to fight in a serious moment with all for one,albiet weaken, he only had less then 5 fights and is shown more of a support role then anything. Despite being the key role model to the protagonist.
Uncle iroh is the very best teacher in any fictional series you can ever think of.
He has stood by zuko even before he was exiled and has been teaching him lesson after lesson about humility and unity. In fact if it wasnt for him toph would have left the team and zuko would never have learned that he wasnt alone. Plus iroh was just a huge badass that he didnt need to have a powerful transformation or special ability.
He was just a skilled veteran who can take down many enemies on his own. I mean he fooled his prison gaurds that he was fooling around to secretly train. And was able to destoy ba sing sae wall on his own, albeit with the help of sozens comet, but still. We also know what his past and why he became such a good wise teacher was because he made many mistakes in his time as a general and what happened to his son tenzin. I legit cried when he sang for his sons tomb and i cried when he reunited with zuko after zuko betrayed him and instead being angry, just hugged and said he was happy to him back and on the right path.

I would say he is better than Iroh. He dropped knowledge and guidance to everyone who could. But Koro did th hat and to a whole class. Then again iroh might be better because he didn't want to be mentor while Koro did his absolute best to be the best teacher he could. I would say Koro is a hair better than iroh. A VERY THIN HAIR LOL

If you've read the manga you'll know that Koro-sensei is 100% a G.O.A.T Teacher. Hands Down

Johnny from Cobra Kai has to be my favorite sensei not only does he learn from his mistakes and changes but he keeps it real with his students and actually cares.

The fact that todo has little screen time but is there to teach Yuji and be there when he needs him(especially in the manga) is admirable. A true man of culture indeed.

My favorite fictional sensei is Izumi Curtis from FMA. She not only taught Ed and Al how to fight and survive she also made them better at recognizing what Alchemy was and how it works. She also is one of the best mother figures out there as she’s tough on them but genuinely cares about them.
She's also fucking terrifying lol. Missing organs and can still fuck up 70% of the character roster
There will always be a special place in my heart for Piccolo training Gohan. Piccolo doesn't get enough love in the Dragonballverse.

@@UncleMikeDrop eh tbh piccolo didn't even do anything for gohan in the first 6 months he just told him to survive by himself and left, 6 months later gohan is able to shoot ki beams and in the anime can do what kid goku could do so gohan was a pretty good at learning things on his own.
Now during the other 6 months the boost gohan got while big wasn't really as much as we've seen goku take gohan to a higher level then he was and beyond.
Unironically, all of the times Robin Williams plays a mentor role lol.
In my favorite fictional sensei would be Master roshi with Guy sensei being a close second

I haven't seen the full video yet but I personally wanna say that I believe uncle iroh is an amamazing sensei because although he is goofy and jokes around a lot he gives amazing advice and genuinely cares about those who he is either training or even a complete stranger.

Akisame-sensai is best sensei. His tutelage turned even Kenichi into a master.
One sort-of reason to boost Yujiro's score: he was definitely a hell of a source of motivation for Baki. :D
My dad, he lost lost a lot of fat in a few months, and now he run maratons for fun. My dad is a great Sensei
My dad left before I was born, so I never had a good dad to teach me the skills to become a man. I did have have mentors and teachers in fictional stories and in reality. My one dream is to become a true man and be the mentor for the future kids who don't have a dad and needs a mentor/teacher.
I'm still training physically and mentally!!

I honestly think Bisky deserves god tier. She helped Gon and Killua grow and so much in two separate arcs even. She loved them and showed up for them when they needed her. She also taught wing who in turn became a great sensei.

I don't think all might actually knew how to help deku with not breaking his bones because all might himself did not have to actually train his body for one for all because he somehow adapted immediately to ofa, a more simple way to explain it is if you were a business major in collage and someone asked you what the square root of pie was

My favorite sensei is Guy because no matter what he put his students above all. Sacrificed his life so his students could prosper.
Iroh is more of the relaxed teacher that is always supportive, and has a calm aura that nobody beats and is filled with knowledge (GOAT)

I can't decide between my favorite senseis. Some of them have better qualities than others. But the best ones tend to be ones that give great life advice and truly understand who their students are. Examples of this would be Jiraiya and Iroh. But badass overpowered senseis like Gojo are also great.
Personal favorites: Bang, Gojo, All Might, Ip Man, Bruce Lee, Jiraiya, Iroh, Guy, Kakashi, Urahara, Zaheer (would be a great sensei), Rengoku, and Whis.
Splinter from the 2012 version is my favorite. Not only does he show that no matter how different you are, you can still accomplish what you want to do. He also has some of the greatest advice for every situation and he's just amazing.

Unpopular opinion: Fillmore needs to be respected as a Disney animated series. I loved that middle school noir detective feel of it.

One of my all time fav teachers is onizuka from GTO he’s only in his early 20s , but he can be so kid like and funny , but when it really counts he can sure change anyone he encounters perspective in life there was a student character with a over the top genius level IQ and all the teachers got so frustrated at her because she would ask or correct them on things they didn’t know the answer to , but onizuka taught her a valuable lesson on life and that was one of my fav moments on the show when he talked to her about moving on in life without hatred toward people . On the top of that onizuka is in amazing shape and he’s super strong and does things no average human could do lol I can go on and on about him , but yeah he’s a dope teacher . He impacted literally dang near impacted every student in his class and all of them tried to get him fired so bad or frame him lol so it’s a super funny and valuable character to me
He is god tier he teaches those others failed to teach.
Koro sensei is my favorite, my man went above and beyond for these kids.

God teir Iroh. Love the fact he took the time not only to show his mugger how to mug properly, but then to talk him out of being a mugger. I also loved the teachers of Kenichi. When I trained in Krav and Mui Thai, the tricks from Kensei and Sakaki helped me improve my techniques.
This list Definitely needs to be revisited. Anything less than GodTier for Koro should be a crime. Izumi is also a GOATED Teacher her results spoke for themselves.

Almost all of Naruto's senseis are GOATED. Also Jiraiya not only trained Naruto but also Minato Nagato(Pain) Konan and Yahiko(Pains body).
Jiraiya considers the other 3 failures tho, since he couldn't save the from everything that happened to them

Only problem I have with Jiraiya is Naruto was still pretty weak after the timeskip.
naruto was weak as fuck after the time skip and not only that we didnt realy witness much of the hands on training from jiraiya anyway...he's overrated imo

Koro Sensei is God Tier. He makes these normal kids into much better people in general plus makes them all deadly assassins. He also cares a lot and shows it every episode. Once you see the students from the first episode to the last. It’s crazy how much they grow up and how OP they become. Top 5 anime’s for me personally.

Besides the ones you mentioned, I'll name:
Libra Dohko - Saint Seiya: Cared a lot about Shiryu and trained him so well. It doesn't hurt that he was OP himself too.
Seijuro Hiko - Rurouni Kenshin: While Dohko is warm and caring, Seijuro is aloof and mysterious. He is harsh to Kenshin, but literally saved his life and taught him everything he knows.
Keishin Ukai - Haikyuu: Haikyuu has several great coaches, but Ukai is the one we see the most, helping his player so much not only with their playing skills but also psychologically.
And not technically a "sensei" from any manga/comic, but I think he deserves appreciation:
Remus Lupin: He's the best Dark Arts teacher Harry had in Hogwarts, cared about him, and taught him the Patronus spell.
Another amazing Kengan sensei, arguably better than the Beard as a sensei, is the Hell's Angel himself, Sekibayashi. The way he helped Haruo all the way and help him find his way was amazing. I thought he'd be annoyed or something, but he immediately showed kindness to Haruo from the beginning. Plus his backstory was great.

I would actually struggle where to put Apachai because of multiple reasons but one of them is the fact that he refused to die to keep Kenichi alive.
Yoda is god tier. Trained almost every Jedi, always taught them great lessons. He loved and cared for each one, and even took teachings from his own student qui gon jin. He’s top 3 out of tht list for me
I completely agree with your ranking for Jiraya. Maybe for a slightly different reason though. He might have been able to make Naruto jump in skills on par with Sasuke during that 2 year gap, but Naruto needed a different kind of mentor and Jiraya did (almost) exactly that. Without being that kind of father figure that Naruto needed, Naruto could have ended up with a completely different (possibly unsafe) mentality. Which you could argue shows why you can't really judge one person's progress with another's.

Great video. And as much as it pains me, I agree with you on all might. Paternal instincts alone, he was a good enough teacher but hes not a good teacher if you get me? Like Deku was faced with a problem and all might had no answer or teaching experience to help find a solution other than to just share his experience and hope for the best. It was only when Gran Torino who was a good teacher stepped in did that problem start to get fixed. And it makes Torino even better coz he saw all might's failures as a teacher and came out of retirement to not just teach deku but also all might. Also godtier Iroh

Good tier iroh. I possibly feel like genkai should have been good tier as well, you should have seen the crazy improvements she made to a few other students later in the series.
Hiko Seijūrō XIII, kenshion himuras teacher from rurouni kenshin, mostly due to him not having any qualms about killing, but still opting to show kenshin how he can use the best techniques in the style that he chooses, and thats pretty cool of him
Coach Kamogawa from Hajime no Ippo and Genkai from Yu Yu Hakusho are known for being great mentors and for pushing their students past their limits. Goat senseis to me ngl

When he bulks up, he has a the sort of body I want to craft for myself, his character is fun but serious when he needs to be, and his workout routines always struck me as amusingly extreme yet somehow pleasant in a tropical island paradise setting (provided he'd let you dip in the ocean after getting exhausted).

Master Roshi is probably my favourite. Though I don't watch or read Dragon Ball, the series has done quite a bit for me, and I especially love what Roshi stands for. Of course, he gets bonus points for being a badass old man.

34:42 yes. it has a manga and the manga set's up a few stuff way better than the anime but for the most part the anime is a good adaptation. The ending is even better in the anime imo. Ones you reach the end he'll be god tier, im almost sure of that. Thats how good korosensei is for me. I learned so much from that character back when I read the manga in highschool.
