It's too late, the tank is already in the game, enough people gambled for it so WG won't nerf it. Truly a terrible addition and makes the tech tree tanks look awful.

I left WoT in February. I did my part.
Only thing you can do is overuse it so much en masse that people start massively complaining about it. Like, every Friday a few thousand people just play BZ-176 and nothing else.
Most useless is that this BZ meets T6 and T7 tanks as well. At least WG should somehow balance that tank by the MM and not match it with low tiers.
Yea...Until BZ-meta, at least tier 6&7 used to be somewhat enjoyable...Nowadays wtf to do with this with "low tier sh!tters" when other tier 8s (and quite some tier 9s) struggle against it...
6 and 7 these days is just a lottery whether it's gonna be a bourrasque, a T56, or a BZ that slaps you with 8-900 dmg

When i look at tanks nowadays I can only play or grind the tanks that can stand against the unbalance nowadays, like T29 and T32 or just play arty or sniper TD

Working for me PERFECTLY for a year now...
This broken shit makes new or recent players quit the game. It also made older players quit by weariness. This kind of stuff shrinks the player base instead of growing it.

I despise Wargaming for having brought this thing into the game. They have shown to be greedy and incompetent for a good long while now, but this one really takes the cake. They have no sense of shame.

mouile you made the right choice, i came back and regretted it immediately they made the game more addicting but not in a good way. i dont like the game yet i constantly play it every day and it hurts my soul and my blood pressure rises when playing it. its still pay to win after all these years
@@dmitriyzhukov9193 Just because you don't play the game anymore doesn't mean you can't support a content creator. People watch other people do all sorts of content that they've never done in their life because it's entertaining or interesting to them. Saying someone needs to be actively doing what they're watching is a terrible mindset.
Its not just this but also the HE changes that did it for me - more and more crazy op hull down meta was bad enough, but when they made that HE can no longer do any damage to those monsters so you have SOME deterring factor against them even on 250 alpha guns if you aim just right, with the HE change that was not only completely gone, allowing them to dominate the 3-5 corridors every shitmap has, but also made it that HE penetrates screens, so paper tanks which could occasionally block some HE damage with the tracks, gun or gun mantlet and other screens now always take FULL increased HE shell damage... So a nerf to tanks that where already challenging to play due to having no armor, and a buff to the already op hull down heavies and everything with armor! So yeah when that landed i was out and gone
I bought 50 loot boxes, got this one along with vipera and m47, played less than 10 battles with it. For some reason I feel dirty whenever I use bz, even more dirty than with spg.

I agree, I play it often but it's so op, and not the most dynamic gameplay (slow tank, long reload), i way prefer playing something like renegade
got 30 boxes. all the low tiers. showed a middle finger and kept my wallet

The only thing that really bothers me about this tank is. The fact that war gaming has a habit of one uping themselves every year so what the hell is coming next....
It was so balanced that WG backtracked and removed the same caliber guns from the tech tree the BZ-176 was supposed to promote! Lol
I tested in the supertest those heavies with up to 180mm gun. The tier X had more than 1150 alpha per shot and this was scratched, only keeping the stock gun and not the big badaboom tank like in the E-100, making the tank similar to the Obj 705A regarding alpha.

Kinda reminds me of how they removed gun rammers from italian mediums because they were "too good" but only gave the op premium a fire rate buff to compensate for the lost dpm so they basically gave it a 4th equipment slot

Guys, do you remember time when Chrysler Defender and Patriot are best 3 heavy tanks in game, Op, Pen, Armor, and so on.....Now look when everyone complained that they were the strongest tanks, the legends, look at them now, they are not strong, nor can you play with them anymore, but they were strong for that era, what can I say about these current and future tanks, only when I think back do I feel sorry ... what do you think 😥

WG surely thought about it and released it on purpose. And as we all know how they also love powercreep to sell the next big thing, we can already stay tuned for some italien bz 176 spinoff with a autoreloader.
Skill. take note that later on, like the defender, it will be replaced by a more OP tank. If you can, you should address the topic where WG keeps powercreeping the game without addressing any of the current problems the game already has. Take the regular tech tree for example. When was the last time it has out performed premium tanks? It should really be addressed soon or else, this game will die a slow death as more newer players quit after experiencing a less and less great experience per game without needing to squeeze their wallets trying to compete.
I think they had it right with premiums in the first few years. The premiums had their credit making advantages in exchange for a larger copula or other liability relative to their tech tree counterparts. Then there was the "Russian Bias" era with tanks like the IS-6 that reversed the weak-spot trend by smoothing them out...remember when that was the OP tank?

If they would have made the shells like the caliban it would have been better balanved imo... a derp shell with low pen and an ap with less alpha... it do not make any sense to have a premium he shell that have more pen...its just better in every way except overmatch

This is what happens when the opposing team treats you with indifference and passes the side of the tank through your face! They didn't even turn the turret towards BZ! And the cannon on the BZ is booming, now it does more than 700 dmg, now it does less than 200 dmg.
This is the only tank I hate more than the leaf blower. The fv304 it's right behind the leaf blower
I have a few of my favourite tanks, watched every single of your videos about them, and now I'm watching videos about the tanks which I'm meeting in the game as my opponents in order to learn their weak points and how to play them 😂😂😂
I stopped playing for weeks when this tank came in. It was so demoralizing when 3-4 of that were in the game.
I'm sure WG lost thousands of players last christmas.
I think releasing this tank was one of the most disgusting decision WG has ever made. One of the reason why I won't pay anymore for this game. No fair play. No money.
I played a game with 3 of these in a platoon on my side. It was a mega 14-1 steamroll. Even the BZ drivers were mocking how ridiculous it was. I'll still play in ways that I find fun but this single tank ended any money I'll put into the game.
I didnt spend any money for more than 1 year now too. The MM is too insane. 3 BZ in a platoon as top tier is just ridicioulus. No money from me.
My SKILL camo is sitting on my SKORPION G tier 8 premium TD and his commander is commanding that same TD :P
there is some tanks like this one bz-176... WG wont nerf or anything else because its from loot-box.. and its special tank for them. And if u want it pay like 60euros for loot-boxes at the christmas.
This tank is what made me quit the game. They released it without any testing and after finding out how broken it was, they decided to rework the tech-tree variants. How WG got so successful by being so incompetent is beyond me.

Well I am no longer playing wot, every time I think of playing I just picture this thing and I don't even bother downloading wot. I am one of the people who quit because of it. I tolerated the vipera but the rocket monkey tank was the last straw

Been playing WoT for maybe 12 years, tried to walk away many times, came back.
Finally I managed to cut all ties and it's this tank that did it, thanks WG, couldn't have done it without your help.
It works if you have enemy side or they dont have much armor if they have armor you cant do nothing :D

they lootboxed it not because it was OP, they put it in the loot boxes so they could SELL more loot boxes. It wasn't until so many had gotten it and destroyed the tier 6 - 8 Match Making that they went "hol' up" and went in and got rid of the same guns that were supposed to be on the BZ Heavy Tech Tree in the China faction. The entire line was supposed to get the big boomer BZ-176 guns, but when BZ-176 destroyed the match maker they finally realized their greedy mistake
I have this tank in my garage, but I will be happy to see a nerf come. and come, it will. either openly, or WG will dial down the RNG performance standards under the dark of night

The problem is you cant even sacrifice hps and flank this tank, becouse of its turbo mechanic. I just dont play agaist this thing instead i am trying to be just annoing.
The marking is ridiculously hard with this one. 3k avg for 2nd mark which is already hard and 4k for 3rd.

That tank does not belong in the tier 8 you mean. It .akes a very strong tier 9 and with a couple changes a decent tier qp
I dont know why they release premium tanks with new mechanics before the tech tree tanks. They can change tech tree tank stats if they feel its OP, but not for premium tanks. Once they start doing this, atleast for the tanks with new mechanics or combination of things, I think the balance itself would be a lot better, and they would lose out just a bit of money since people would still want to play with premium tanks having new mechanics so that they can make silver while playing with a mechanic they like or find new.

This tank, like the EBR, will never be sold again. Edit: Just to add, I own this tank but I rarely play it. I break it out for special occasions, especially if I have certain missions to complete. It doesn't feel particularly fun to play. I much prefer the Iron Arnie as far as last year's loot boxes go. It's strong too but it doesn't feel revoltingly strong like the BZ.
I got this tank in loot boxes but won't play it, I would feel to sorry for the people I spank.
@@zGJungle Yeah, I mean it's so strong that it isn't really a satisfying experience playing it. It's hard to explain. The soft stats for the gun are awful. The gun just feels sluggish. Sure, it smashes people but I have way, way more fun smashing people in the 50TP pr. or the Bisonte or heck, even the Lowe. The Lowe's gun is very satisfying to use. This thing just feels unenjoyable. Cheers.

I have a 44% win rate in my BZ-176 but a 57% win rate in the TS-54. I just cannot make it work for me.
Most of the people commenting have never played it. I only use if for front line to make money. It gets wrecked if you are not careful and they are not spamming gold. My Skoda 56 and Peregrine out perform this thing every single time. Heck, my Skorpion G is way more dangerous than this. They must be planning to sell it again this Christmas and the CC's are prepping the wallet warriors for a big sale.
tier 8 has been dead, killed for quite some time, cant remember when was the last time I had fun in that tier, now I only play tier 8s when I need credits

I have a strong hate for this game wrecking tank!, WG need to apply the same rule to this tank as they do to the wheeled tanks...if they have one, then we must have one, and restrict its ability to enter into a platoon, honestly the tier 8 ebr is a tame timid little cow compared to this bull of a tank!.
Edit: I have one of these tanks and would gladly sell it back to WG for gold or a new tier 8 prem, only to get the thing out of the game!
Funny thing is, i cant make it work. I miss or dont pen almost every shot. And in an above average player
I tried to get it myself spending a lot of money on boxes. Unfortunately, I didn't hit it in the lootbox. The other tanks were rather weak and were only added to reduce the chance of getting the BZ176. I felt like a game I've been playing for 10 years spit in my face. Players were divided for those who own BZ176 and those who suffer. I checked the accounts of many players and some during the holidays made 3500 battles on this tank!!! it means something. The second problem is that even a very average player could make his damage record with this tank because often players with a 44% win rate had games at 5000dmg. I decided to take a break from this game.
Reward and loot-boxes tanks fuck up the game. And like you said they spit in your face because of that. Being their customer for many years.
Best decision ever. I stopped playing in 2017, and never felt like a bad decision! Watching skill sometimes because he s a great guy, but i don t ever get the urge to play myself again
Even though this tank can make excellent work, I know person that has BZ and totally can't play it, so his average score is about 1k dmg per game. But when you gamestyle is yolo rush, dealing 2 shots, and back to garage, then you have stats like this. So tank ofc is great and op, but not idiot proof...
Your offhand comment regarding tier 6's really called for one of the three games being in that top tier matchmaking. Against this raw firepower, armor, and mobility it's simply a cruel joke when you come up against one from bottom tier. In a way it points to a solution - give it 200 more HP and make it a tier 9.
Just the MM shouldnt give him top tier games.

I'm new to WOT and on the first and second time I met this tank I really tried to Pen it using gold rounds. After that experience I literally asked my team to ignore or run from this shit every encounter I had. And don't get me started of the Tier 5 Arty leFH, fcking hate that shit.

This tank is the reason why I have had A LOT of success in TS-5 recently. BZ-176 can´t pen it anywhere frontally. Just 1/3 of the cupola. 300 HEAT eats the lower plate of BZ. TS-5, the BZ-176 killer!!
I also found that, in a T30, you can overmatch it's roof
Sure, in those tanks the BZ is no problem. But what if you meet it in a T7 VK? 194 gold pen, often bounce even on the side.
And then he rocket boosts behind you and BOOM. Unless it's a noob wallet warrior that lets you keep shooting his lower plate

Honestly, if they nerfed this tank by simply taking away the derp gun with the premium HE ammo, and instead gave it the gun from the tier 9 tech tree tank (or even the tier 8), that would balance it just fine. You could even deal with the armor being utterly dumb and the rocket boosters being moronic on it.
The real issue with this tank was literally the gun. THAT is why when the tech tree released, they removed all the derp guns on it. It was LITERALLY the gun that pissed off the community so badly that they knew they couldn't release the line with those massive guns. The tier 9 and 10s were gonna be like miniature FV4005 Shitbarns but with turret armor similar to an E100 or a Maus.
I'm surprised they haven't added this to console yet. They love to add broken OP things...
I've played against it in tier 6 it's not that game ruining imo, most of the time the player using it does something really stupid and dies or sits at the back all game for some reason.
I accepted long time ago that they make premiums stronger than tech tree tanks. I even understood it, if someone is paying real money for the tank, it has to be worth it.
But this one is just ridiculous. It crossed the balance line so much it doesn't see it anymore.
The reverse speed isn't even bad on this tank....

This tank should have a heavy nerf on pen value why does Type 5 Heavy at tier 10 get 190 and this tier 8 gets 225, its OP because it can pen same tier heavy tanks frontally, it should also have reverse preferencial matchmaking so the tank should not be allowed to see tier 6, its HE pen should be 150 not 225

@@ascorbic123 also the tier 10 bz doesnt get HE with pen, I thought I will just grind the tech tree tank and the tier 10 bz will be able to stomp these bz176s , in reality its not the case, the tier 10 does only 650 a shot I would happily swap it for the tier 8 premium and I would never say that about Maus or Patton etc

Its nonsense with all these OP premiums, also Bourasque. I play for the marathon with T7 heavies a lot at the moment and I get very often these things in the enemy team. They always hit their 2 shots when I need to aim for ages. Its useless, no sense at all.
as long as tourists want to show you their sides it's a powerful tank. otherwise, it's like any other derp gun.
i wish i had battles like 15-2 and 15-3 but i have 2-15 and 3-15...
I quit the game bc of this especific tank, was grinding the Obj 263 and AMX 65t, i simply couldnt take it anymore
