Yeah I do believe some police members can be terrible human beings but seriously labeling all police bad or racist is childish the director needs to grow up.
In all fairness American police officers are a bit of a joke. Are they all racist and terrible people? No, not at all, but there is a very clear pattern that those in the position of authority are typically more racist and terrible of a person. An increase in false charges against people of color, overstepping their authority when it comes to LGBTQ+ individuals and people of color proves this. It's like the police refuse to adapt from the 1950s. This also isn't helped by the fact American officers are given the least amount of training among all developed countries, with around 700 hours compared to the rest of the worlds 2000-4500 hours, with around 50% to 67% of that 700 going into just firearms training. The requirements for entry to be an officer is shockingly low in comparison to countries with better policing. In countries like New Zealand, United Kingdom, Republic of Ireland, Canada, etc. an advanced degree is required to be able to be an officer but in the US basically anyone with basic understanding of math and English can sign up. They're not really taught how to be an officer and lack of requirements to be a police officer create subpar performance.

Namor's people are actually had blue skinned in the original comics. It's only one things about Namor that they didn't change.
They changed his ethnicity for 2 reasons:
1. Only another historically oppressed ethnic group could fight the Wakandans without people saying it's just people invading Africa, which is racist.
2. His actual origin story is too similar to Aquaman's, and even though the Submariner's comic came out first, since Aquaman is more well-known and his movie came out first, people will assume that the writers were just copying Aquaman.
