Was looking for the "facial expression" praise...she gives it 101%. You can literally feel her part of the story through her expressions. She gave me goosebumps when she called the Doctor about her husband not waking up. I felt that
I lost my dad as a teenager 13years ago and i couldn't talk about my shock and feelings for over 8years. for the first time in 13years, i spoke about my dad in past tense last year and didn't cry. The only way i managed to talk about him before that time was to speak of him in present tense, you know, pretend he's still alive. From time to time, i still loose my voice when i try to have conversations about my Dad and his life. My Mum got over the shock before me, she was worried even more worried about me and i'm not an only child or the youngest child. The first time i attempted to tell my kids about their Grandpa, i lost my voice and had a terrible headache. So i COMPLETELY understand the shock that has taken mena's voice. I didn't even get to see my dad's dead body until the funeral day and i was traumatised, imagine me being the one to discover he was dead, which mouth i wan take talk abeg???? This is one of the most relatable movies i've watched this year, the crew and cast nailed it. Aunty Uduak, welldone.
The friendship and bond between Ronke and her sister inlaw is so amazing... I have this same bond with my husband's younger sister... Its so amazing when you are loved genuinely by inlaws... May God give us all the love, joy and peace we genuinely desire and deserve...

This was a very emotional movie. The cast played their role well. My take away from this would be the fact that Uche included her daughter in her relationship by explaining what is going on. Also, Ken didn't just propose to Uche, he made sure to get the child's approval before doing so. Often times kids get overlooked when it comes on to having/creating a blended family and kids react or rebel. Make it even worst abuse. I love the relationship Uche had with her in-law because at the end of the day, everyone deserves happiness. Well played. I could rewatch this because I am sure there is some scenes that I overlooked.

This was a very emotional movie. The cast played their role well. My take away from this would be the fact that Uche included her daughter in her relationship by explaining what is going on. Also, Ken didn't just propose to Uche, he made sure to get the child's approval before doing so.
Often times kids get overlooked when it comes on to having/creating a blended family and kids react or rebel. Make it even worst abuse.
I love the relationship Uche had with her in-law because at the end of the day, everyone deserves happiness.

Beautiful movie...great story line...the chemistry between Uche and Uzor was soo real and emotional... The mother - daughter relationship was wow! The lil girl is a great actress....the Sis in law relationship teachers us alot as ladies that we can always have healthy relationships regardless of situations...lastly i love how they carried the child through out decision making and their plans both mother and step dad. Children also have emotions we always need to respect and consider... kudos to the cast and crew for bringing such a beautiful movie
