I like how you use gs in the air. Some nice inspiration. I’m a diamond Magyar main on Xbox but 1900 on mobile. And most the year I can only play on mobile. Enjoyed the vid!
@@UraVani it’s annoying though bc I’m way better on Xbox like I feel like I could maybe hit like 2100 if I tried - but on mobile I can’t even make it to diamond the highest I got was like 1940 after some good placements and a single win Also I only feel comfortable playing Magyar in ranked. And as much as he’s like a good character overall, I feel like he’s got the worst gs sigs and hammer sigs almost all other greatsword and hammer legends have much better sigs So I often wonder if I could do better on another gs character, but the only other one that’s fun is Arcadia. I think the only reason Magyar still feels kinda broken is the high def and 5/6 force which is just kind of stupidly broken bc on low dex gs you lose nothing. You lose out a bit on 3 dex hammer but it’s still really good. So default stance can be good. Either way, you do too much damage and take none, he’s basically xull but in reverse. The stats are crazy good for the way I like to play. 4 speed is honestly fine w me. It’s just bc on gs if you land an extended string you melt their stock in comparison to what they can do to you. And on hammer you just out trade them, so you can have a worse neutral game but come out with some dumb wins, especially with hammer gimps being as strong as they occasionally are. Or like you can just never die if they can’t edgeguard well or ur good at recovering to stage. And his hammer sigs are bad but if you hit them they kill pretty well, his gs sigs are the worst gs sigs, but that’s not saying much - his gs sigs are better than his hammer sigs they’re all pretty solid. 🤣 Oh and stomp nsig is true when stacked on hammer which is kinda crazy 🤯 I’m like not intending to get past diamond on the phone, I kind of have always just played the game for fun and improved…slowly and mindlessly. I played a bunch in 2021 because I loved Magyar a lot, he just clicked with me and I’ve mained him since then. Got him like lvl 70 maybe? Before that I mostly mained scythe, cannon and hammer. With orb, blaster, gauntlet and katar phases. I even mained random for a while 🤣 Oh and my first main was vector and I got 1600 in 2 weeks with scarlet. Volkov and xull were major mains too. Hit plat with fait and Thor after about a month of playing? Then I didn’t play when cannon got mega broken the patch after the cannon rework bc it pissed me off bc it was crazy good the 2nd most broken thing after pre nerf gs. And then gs immediately released and the game was even more unplayable than when cannon was disgusting the patch before, so I kind of didn’t play much in 2020 either. I only started playing gs in 2021 w Magyar. But I went to university that year. I largely stopped playing in 2022 bc I had brain damage from psychosis, but recovered at the start of 2023. Then I mainly played on mobile this year but I randomly hit diamond despite barely playing. Idk why I’m writing so much. Cheers if u read allat. Also u started off as a mobile player?

Yeah, I’m planning on a gs guide. I got info from TWK that gs nlight finisher is going to be tweaked, so I’m gonna wait a little bit more. But I’ll be making one!
When my momentum is being carried up I dair, right after jumping. Or if I'm high in the air. I never dair when falling close to the ground incase I do a grounded dair cause you get punished easily. and after I miss a slight I jump dair incase the opponent tries to punish my whiff. and thanks!!
These gameplay videos are better than GS guides on youtube because you to learn and understand how to approach, punish, reads etc. If you make a guide you get many views but don't stop with gameplay videos :D @@UraVani
Greatsword is the most broken weapon ever It's fun when playing with greatsword, but annoying when playing with other weapons against it and definitely requires more nerf
Yeah. I think once people play greatsword they realize what it’s weak points are and then have more knowledge on how to fight it. But if a person never played greatsword then the weapons gonna seem broken to them lol
@@eggie1552 jump around and above gs and wait for the gs to throw out side light or nlight and then with spear you can sair, or dair into nair, and gaunts you can dair or land side light or nlight. Just wait for gs to miss an grounded attack then punish. so u wanna bait them into missing. and if you're too slow and they spot dodge after they miss side light then wait for the spot dodge and then punish.
@@UraVani idk abt little dmg tho, but if that's the case, then bmg needs make the weapon slower and hit harder. But in it's current state, i think greatsword is just too fast. I bet bmg is gonna nerf greatsword after yuz won the bcx with Jaeyun.
@@mickssss I hope bmg doesn't nerf gs, cause even when yuz was playing gs he used gs aerials because those do way more damage and it basically makes gs grounded strings useless when you could just play like how yuz was playing.

It's not bad, it's pretty good. It's just hard to find a good situation to use it in. I usually go for dairs when edge guarding but dsig can work too.
