🐝🐝I was watching this with my sister in the room and she just looks over and goes “she’s so pretty” which is very true and I’m of the belief of telling people compliments when you notice them
Read books for you starsign Read books of a certain colour Read only books over 500 pages Read the shortest book you have , and work your way up Listen to audiobooks only Read 12 books with 1-12 in the title Read only non-fiction Read a full shelf from your book shelves (all books from the same shelf) Read books with the letters of the month on the cover like M-A-Y
can't wait for the end of this year when you're just doing straight up 22hours a day reading, getting a quick 2 hour nap in, and then getting back into it no but on a real, i recently found your channel, and i love ur videos and ur vibe so much! 💕
For a reading challenge, maybe you could read a book you've been putting off, or a book in your TBR that intimidates you or something like that? or maybe you could do a challenge where you read one week, one genre? or a week where you read a book in a genre you dont usually read?
@desertrosereads LOL no i work a full time job and I go to school. I wake up at 6:15am and go to bed at 9pm. I really do not have time 😂 the time I do have, I spend reading but it’s definitely NOT 3 hours worth
@desertrosereads all good tips! It can be REALLY hard though. I get up at 6, then almost an hour to work, 8.5 hours at work, 1 hour commute back home. Make dinner, grocery shop, dishes, laundry, and I have 2 special needs cats, shower... Like Jay by the time I sit down it's 9pm and I'm exhausted. Weekends are a little better lol
Another fun video! I enjoyed watching it very much. You have such a bubbly personality! A fun reading challenge idea, I think, would be to read books who's titles start with each letter of your name. So B first, R next, and so on.
You’ll LOVE Stardew Valley 💞 But be prepared to lose all your time 🤣 So advice for beginning, keep one of everything you find / farm. Fishing is the best way to make money for the first year. Fall is the beat season for crops and don’t worry about updating your tools or building coops / barns till winter - Hope you LOVE it
maybe you can try to read oldest published book you own and most recently published one for one of the challenges!(if this makes sense lmao) also your love for titanic really makes me want to watch it for the first time💛🐝
I’ve started reading at least 30 mins everyday and that’s really helping with the slump! This is amazing 😻 I wish I can reach 3 hrs sometime later this year! So many great books to get to ☺️☺️
I was just talking to my gf last night about the Titanic movie! The actual sinking parts really are so sad and tragic 😭 That book from your grandfather is amazing.
I don’t get why 2 people have clicked on this video and potentially watched and then just gave it a thumbs down? Like was that necessary? Ps : just found your account and love it!
I just started yesterday 3 hours a day.... but separated into 1 hour stints at time during the day. 1 is a devotional time with dedicated books (usually 1st thing in the morning.) the other 2 hours are fiction. ... am not a fast reader so I average 30 pages an hour depending on the font. I've delved into Lord of the Rings ( which will be a long read) and... In a Holidaze by Lauren...( which is a fast read ( 78 pages read in 2 hours time with 304 pages total in the book) cute story. My logic is I'm replacing a 3 one programs or long movie..... as far as remembering from day to day..... I figure the brain is capable of keeping track of a weekly show.... reading from day to day is a piece of cake. wishing you a great day.
That Titanic book looks so interesting! There used to be a time that I was sooo invested in the Titanic's history! Still can't watch the movie without crying half way...
Love all your challenges you are setting yourself, I need to take a leaf out of your book big time to get some books moving off my TBR library as it is immense. Great to see you back in another video 🤗
Haha I honestly just love how much dedication you put to complete the challenge... like making up for the time you didn’t read on other days! Love it 🐝
If you like pirate stories, maybe you could try reading All the Stars and Teeth? It's a duology and both volumes are out already. It's not just about pirates, but there is one and there is also a lot of ship traveling and magic and it's just a comfy fantasy read to be honest :)
Reading challenges are so much fun to watch. Loved your video! 💕 It's definitely motivated me to read for longer periods of time. (Just need to find the time now, haha)
Have you heard of the Septimus Heap series by Angie Sage? It's a really good middle grade series. It's 7 books and I wasn't allowed to read Harry potter growing up, so I always compare it to that, except it's set in much more of a fantasy world. it's SO good though! you should just try the first book. I haven't listened to the audio book before but I think Scribd has it. :)
This reminded me that I need to start using Forest again! Definitely for my work day, but I want to start doing reading sprints with it too. It seems to work so well for everyone.
The challenge was difficult and you did it!! Congratulations Britt!!! The Poppy War is amazing and now because of you I want to read the sequel!!! Thank you so much!!
Yay! I'm happy I am not the only one who loved/loves the titanic when they were younger! I watched that movie so many times and also did a lot of research about it and watch documentaries. lol. Right now I am currently reading Luck of the Titanic, which I am really enjoying. The author did a lot of research from the Titanic to write about it.
Wow, that really is impressive. I wish I had enough time to do the challenge as well, but I’m currently studying for my exams, so that’s not an option. I’m also pretty sure I know which series you’re talking about...😊🐝
Do you ever look up games on the eshop on the Switch ? There can sometimes be large price differences between physical and digital copies of games. For example Stardew Valley is €30 on Amazon but its only €14 on the Nintendo eshop. Most of the games I own on the Switch were bought digitally.
ok I too bought stardew for the first time last week, and I think I've played almost 30 hours so far, so I'm definitely in that same boat!! it's just so cute and so hard to resist
Omg TikTok is always a killer for me, too!! Anytime I go on there, suddenly 2-3 hours have passed 😂 such a cool challenge, tho! I think I‘ll try to start with reading a physical book 1 hour a day 💕
I’m prioritizing reading at the moment because I’m pregnant with twins and don’t think that I’m going to get a lot of reading done when they are born - i have some hope for audio books but other than that 😅 Downside is that I’m buying new books again which I haven’t been doing for months 😂😂 I actually need more space haha
Congratulations on your pregnancy 💕 I totallly get you about the reading part. I’m currently 32 weeks along and also get as much reading in while I can☺️
I love these challenges.. I can never be consistent with reading and be productive in my work. I will just get carried away by the book I read and stop working as a whole 😂🐝🐝🐝
I know it has been over a year since this came out, but just wanted to say Stardew Valley is such a dangerous game 🤣🤣🤣 I have been playing it since it came out on PC…then bought it on the Switch. It’s so gooooood!!

hahahah! Imagine that. I'd finally get to so many old books on my tbr.
Thank you so much!!
Such a cool challenge! I love trying to prioritise reading time into my routine as it always makes me feel so relaxed!
Yesss same!! It also helps me fall asleep so much faster if I’m not on my phone right before I sleep so this challenge helped a lot!
For a reading challenge, maybe you could read a book you've been putting off, or a book in your TBR that intimidates you or something like that? or maybe you could do a challenge where you read one week, one genre? or a week where you read a book in a genre you dont usually read?

omg congratulations that challenge was a hard one!! the poppy war is soo good, hope you enjoyed it 🐝
Thank you!! The Poppy War was so good!
I love your reading vlogs so much, and you are just flying through all these challenges - a reading queen!
Thank you Aoife!! 💛

Oh the idea is sooo good!
Also maybe you can read the oldest books on your TBR, aka the books that are on your Tbr for the longest amount of time 🙈
I love challenge videos & I love your fridge!! I have never seen one built into the cabinet.

no But Britt Im obsessed with binging your reading vlogs, at this point i watch 5 minutes of your videos before I read to motivate me

You reading the blurb of The Stationary Shop sounded AMAZING! And now I wish to read it!
I finished it and it was SO GOOD!!
If you like pirate stories, maybe you could try reading All the Stars and Teeth? It's a duology and both volumes are out already. It's not just about pirates, but there is one and there is also a lot of ship traveling and magic and it's just a comfy fantasy read to be honest :)
Great job crushing this challenge! I love your challenge videos(and your channel.) 😀
Your videos are so encouraging !! Scribd is great!!
I love these weekly reading challenges Britt!! So fun ❤️❤️❤️
Thank you, Gabby!! ♥️
Reading challenges are so much fun to watch. Loved your video! 💕 It's definitely motivated me to read for longer periods of time. (Just need to find the time now, haha)
Congratulations on the great success of your personal reading challenge! I did watch it until the end, but I have no emojis! You’re great!
Thanks for watching!
🐝🐝🐝 Awesome vlog as always! Excited to see your other challenge.
Thank you!!
Another idea would be one week and read one genre or books on one shelf 🌸
Such a good idea!!

I haven't read that one! Will definitely check it out!
This was a really great vlog and you read so much!! Maybe another challenge could be reading the highest and lowest rated books on your tbr? ✨
Thank you so much!!
Oooh that's such a good idea, thanks!!
This reminded me that I need to start using Forest again! Definitely for my work day, but I want to start doing reading sprints with it too. It seems to work so well for everyone.
Forest is such a brilliant app!! It helps me so much with my reading!

Yay! Another vlog 🤩🤩🤩 I wont be surprised if the hours keep increasing in the comin vlogs 📚 #ugogirl
Thank you!! Hahah I do think this might be the max, because this was already really tough 😂
This is so fun! I think I need to try setting myself a daily time amount for reading to be more productive
Your aesthetic (and hair) give me such Daisy Jones vibes!
Ahhh Thank you!!
Keep up the good work. Great content. Soon enough, you'll hit 1m subscribers.
Have a super week and an even better weekend
Ciao.
Wow, that really is impressive. I wish I had enough time to do the challenge as well, but I’m currently studying for my exams, so that’s not an option. I’m also pretty sure I know which series you’re talking about...😊🐝
Good luck with your exams!!
Hahah yeah it's probably the series you're thinking about 😏

I love your reading vlogs so much💗🐝 You make me motivated to pick up a book rather than waste my time on social media😅
Thank you so much! That makes me so glad to hear!
Love your Reading videos ☺️
I'd love if you did a week/month long challenge to read your biggest books as I know you always say they intimidate you :)
Loved this video! It's made me want to do this challenge myself.. 🐝🐝🐝

Yeah I ended up downloading it and returning the physical game because I found that out! I didn’t know that but the price differences are crazy 😱
Oh the Titanic book looks so cool! 😍🐝
Congrats on your challenge!
Lol I'm thinking reading a book a day 😏😏😏🤔 haha love the vlogs!

I definitely have to try that one week 😏 Thank you!!
Maybeeee..... 😏
@@BasicallyBrittx Yes :) it'll be a wild week :) you could read the Bridgerton books again! Cause you flew through those!
(Hehe can't wait!)
a little bee (no emojis on my lap top :c)
