Introducing a podcast in this format is a brilliant addition to Dreaming Spanish content. Not only are the hosts professional educators, the quality of the video is amazing and the topics are interesting. I especially enjoyed discussion on culture, and the comment from Agustina about families living close seems reminiscent of how families in the US lived several decades ago. I also applaud their broaching tough subjects like safety and poverty, where many creators prefer to avoid topics like these.
Please add a "Podcast" tag to the website as this series expands. It's very helpful to listen to while I'm doing other tasks that don't require a lot of attention (walking, dishes, etc) and I'd love to be able to target my search for similar videos on the site.

Love your two person podcast! You're both from upper class families and have the privilege of visiting other countries. I live in California with a different group of Latin American people who came here to get a better life. I deal with latinos every day, That's why I want to be able to understand and speak another language.
Hola, chicas. Brasil 🇧🇷
I'm from New Zealand and I've only been learning Spanish for a year, but I really like the channel. I also recently visited Peru and Argentina, so it's interesting to hear some of your views on Latin America.
I'm close to breaking into the B2 level according to the apps that I use, and I had to look up many of the words here. Sexism and equality are also not normal conversational topics and they have a lot of nuance that normally gets thrown out for the sake of sound bites. I prefer normal day to day things in the conversations, of which sexism and equality are not. The west has gone so far to their odd idea of equality as to bypass any actual benefits and create an environment that does not benefit anyone, other than the daycare, afterschool, and mental health industries. Plenty of men and women are baffled and even appalled that my wife doesn't bring in money and that we have fully shared financial accounts. Stay at home moms are incredibly rare, even in our rural and conservative area. There are now expectations of women to split the bills and no longer the pressure on men to be reliable providers for their families (including their wife). I think this lack of reliance on each other and attempts to spit all responsibilities instead of having somewhat traditional roles is causing many other issues within relationships and general society as well. Having the ability to be independent is all fine and good, but a lack of interdependence in a relationship just makes everything more unstable.
Like other comments the podcast format is a lot easier to listen than watching videos, am around 300 hours or input. I am originally from india but I live in USA now. The way you explained things in terms of career opportunities it seems india might be better than LatAm, atleast if you study engineering you can get an office job and not work as a waiter!!
Not sure. there is lot of unemployment right now in India. So many engineers wants to leave India for jobs. plus north India due to pollution is almost unlivable now. Plus millions of Indians live in UAE/Dubai/Saudi Arabia cause there not enough jobs in India simply.
Another fabulous episode ladies!!! I’d love to see you broach subjects like how does social media differ in Latin American countries, or entertainment, or even dating!! Keep up the great work, you both have excellent voices for podcasting.
I love the podcasts! And I love how smart, on point and sofisticated Agustina ist. I could listen to her to talk about any topic. She's my favourite👍👍👍👍👍👍!
Andreas, love you. Please understand that Vancouver is not Canada. Vancouver is one of the most beautiful cities in Canada, but has the worst culture. I recommend Toronto and Montreal for a much much better culture with warmer people and if you're really adventurous the east coast. I've never seen so many angry and cold people in Canada then in Vancouver today. I've been in and out of Vancouver throughout my life, and Im sad to say, the culture Vancouver has deteriorated in the last 15 years. Save your sanity come to Toronto, there is a better film school and much more activity in the film industry.
Love the podcast format! People complain about how terrible things are in the United States right now. They haven’t a clue how much most of the world struggles. We’ve worked hard, and raised our kids to appreciate the opportunities they have here. Our daughter is about to get her pilot’s license and wants to be a commercial pilot and our son is about to graduate as an engineer and has companies eager to hire him. It is heartbreaking to travel overseas and see so many hopeless people. If you have half a brain and you are willing to work then the USA is truly the land of opportunity.
No matter what country things can always be better at this point. Things ARE terrible. There’s a homeless problem. There’s a justice problem. I’m an engineer and it’s hard to be hired because of mass layoffs. Thankfully I have savings. But not everyone has that and a support system.
Typical 'merican thinking only his country has pilots or engineers 😂 say hi to the drug addicts in the streets of LA, heartbreaking to see them struggle so much in the land of opportunity
@@tpipandpop4242so, we can't criticize or point out problems because some places are worse off? The way this country is headed there will be an owner class, and everyone else will either be a soldier, prisoner, homeless, or working 100 hours a week for little pay.

Gracias.
Minor criticism to mention. For me personally, the sharp colors in the background in each episode so far are not relaxing to look at. I would much prefer the natural background of the locations Agustina and Andrea are in. Regardless, the series overall is excellent, as are A&A, the rhythms of speech, and the topics.
We have a problem in the West though, the "security" is creating a totalitarian society that gets worse every month. It is becoming intolerable. This is also the reason why people vote Trump etc: freedom. The irony is, that the Mexican cartels are actually blocking the government to become too authoritarian.
Agustina, soy argentino. Ah, Agustina showing a bit of the all too common porteño ethnocentrism. That Buenos Aires is superior or “more advanced” than the rest of the country (“el interior”) is highly debatable, much less regarding social aspects such as egalitarianism. Women aren't treated differently in “el interior”, not at least in "el interior" I live. And furthermore, I'd argue that "machismo" isn't a problem at all here in Argentina.
