    That drowning thing was in a movie. They put the immortal woman I a metal box and threw it deep in the water and for 100's of years she would drown and come back. That's is scary. That has to be a crazy way to torture someone who cant die

      Highlander the Series was more realistic about immortality.
      When the drown they go into suspended animation until the conditions for life are restored.
      You don't wake up until you wash up on shore.
      The other way you will eventually use up all the energy contained in the cells. Immortal or not, if your cells are out of energy there is no way to wake up, move around, etc.
      I know none of it is real, but when it becomes too fake to ever possibly happen, it loses all interest for me.

      Growing older puts more strain to their healing factors. It depends on the universe of course but at some point ALL healing factor users reached their limits.
      Romulus knew it which is why he wanted Logan to take over in his place.
      If hulk's healing factor reached close to it's limit he wouldn't be able to heal from something like that

    Logan drowning would involve him blacking out from lack of oxygen, only for his brain to revive itself and regain consciousness, only to black in out again

  • @TorqueBacklash
    @TorqueBacklash 2 หลายเดือนก่อน

    There is a death that people love to ignore. In Age of Ultron, Wolverine kills Wolverine. Two time traveled Wolverines meet and agree to only send 1 back and the other needs to die. Its was heavily implied her went for his brain. Without his any extra gimmicks in play, destroying his brain kills him. Getting through that skull is tends not to be an option. Brain damage can recover but takes time such as world war Hulk giving him boxer’s brain but if you can get at it, you are set and probably terrifying.

    What I don’t hear anyone ever mentioning is the fact that if wolverine was too drown and die and regenerate endlessly surely his body would adapt and mutate too allow him too survive the variable that’s responsible for his death. Look at evolution surely he would adapt it would just be a very long and mindful process

      @@chandansimms9167he doesn’t actively mutate. Yes he’s a mutant, but he won’t mutate to adapt to his environment over time. Darwin has a mutation that would allow that to happen, as he can adapt to survive anything. He was in X-men first class, but the did him dirty and killed him off with a simple energy orb.

    • @chandansimms9167

      @@AlmonMalk I know what you mean and yes in the comics Darwin is unkillable. But if Logan’s dealing factor means he won’t die downing and if he does die his healing factor will bring him back there is a chance he would further mutate/evolve as his body will be adapting to the same stimulus constantly. Our own ancestors have adapted to their environments even in the animal kingdom we hear all the time of animals evolving due to their environment so it would be logical to think Logan would evolve. Even in Dc comics when doomsday dies he regenerates and comes back impervious to what killed him previously as his body adapts to what killed him

    Magneto is death for Wolverine. Just magnetically rip off the guy's head and it's over. And don't say it'll grow back. Didn't he remove all the metal from his bones once in the comics?

  • @serilium-ym8zp
    @serilium-ym8zp 2 หลายเดือนก่อน

    the issue i have with logan drowning is when he comes back to life only to drown again, how much time does he have between those 2 things happening, i ask this because logan it is only the bones that have adamantium not his muscles and not the tendons that connect the bones and muscles together, since it is the metal that is holding him down all he has to do is cut through the muscle and the tendons, lose the legs first and when he regrows he will weigh less and eventually he will be able to swim to the surface.

    • @UndeadCheetah
      @UndeadCheetah 2 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Honestly the comics are loose on this issue. He's taken a nuke to the face, which really should blow all his bones apart from one another, but it doesn't. So it does seem separating his limbs is extremely hard.

  • @jerantonio5264

    Wolverine is only the durable because of his popularity. Originally enough damage would prove too fatal for him, and while he could survive injuries on his stomach and even heart, too much would kill him, also breaking his neck as he said to Spider-Man, removing his head somehow or removing oxygen was supposed to be permanent deaths for him back in the 80s, he only came back from a drop of blood because of special conditions. I love wolverine but I kinda dislike how he’s just invincible because what stakes are there anymore? Depression is the one thing keeping him somewhat grounded and his personality keeps me reading at least
