Hey Steve - I normally would stretch a little from both sides, just curious - why didn't U stretched and seamed again? Great video! For the home owner - that don't looks like puppies damage. Some carpet cleaners report some very estrange reaction on olefin Berber carpet, I personally never had but sure that looks like the carpet shrank after cleaning - Nobody fault, just a natural reaction on this type carpet
Thank you for your comment. I agree that it's possible to stretch the carpet a little from both sides. When I do it that way, I will normally set up two power stretchers. In this case I felt that the best solution was to patch in a couple of rows. By the way, the puppy was still in the house with the customer. Thanks again, Steve
Actually more comments are better because each time I reply, a link to my website is included. This is great for the search engine optimization. It doesn't matter much to me what others think. I'm the one on the way to the bank with thousands of satisfied customers. BTW, do you do carpet repairs? If so and you want some work, call the office and ask for Matt!
Hello TheChriswtburke, I intentionally show the repairs on some of the videos where you can see the repair. I have dozens of videos that I can upload where the repair is invisible, however, it's more common (especially with cheap apartment carpet) that you will see it. One major key to customer satisfaction is to be honest about the outcome before starting the job. Thanks for posting and by the way, where is your video showing us how to do it better, or do you just criticize others?
would have liked to have seen an actual shot of the completed work...camera never panned out to show if the job looked seamless (no pun intended) and indistinguishable from the rest of the carpet
Hey Steve love the knowledge and years of experience you share. No offense, but for future videos, do yourself a favor and loose the Carpet Mom. I feel like I'm on the job with you, showing me how to do something and the customer is breathing down our necks, but we can't tell her what we're really thinking. I would of hit mute if it wasn't for me wanting to hear what you had to say. Hope that doesn't get you in trouble with your ole lady :-)

It's true that quite often people when no substance of their own will think that they will feel better about themselves by criticizing others.
@Redbelo Yeah I would do the same thing too .

@Rallen574
Thanks for the feedback but, as you probably guessed, it's better to let the girlfriend talk all she wants. :)

It's usually around $150
Generally it's around $150.00
PS:
If you agree, you could redo the video, taking out the audio and just talking over it (narrating).
Just a thought.
