After 4 years of playing, and only ever winning 3 ships by crates, I won the SLAVA yesterday in the seasonal crate. I am at a lost, as I am a dedicated DD Driver and have no Russian line ships. So I needed this review and might give it a try later this week. Thanks again for being there with the break down Terry. Happy New Years!
Could you please create two battles, one with a standard "traditional" setup and one with a maximum setup? Perhaps we can see what we can expect from any ships you review :)
Forget deck protection! Increasing the deck armour of 70 mm by a fraction is almost useless, the citadel strike commander skill will create nice tidy sums of damage accumulated over the entire course of the battle. Nice Review Terry 👌 .
Great video terry, can't wait for this to drop.Hope its not too expensive.Im also excited for ALANTICO.Have a great Christmas/New year! Also.Thank you for the great content and inspiration you give us.Praying that you get healed a 100 percent and can get back to your normal self
Thanks a lot! I did find a balance with my health situation, plus a good doc with some promising meds, so we'll see how things go. At least I'm almost back to normal video production levels 😁 Slava is a T10 premium, so yeah, that'll likely not come for cheap. Yamato or Vermont is always an alternative, with the added bonus that they actually have armour.
I was so lucky to win this with a 10 crate key pack (£8.99), what a ship it is to play! I've taken your tip of sitting back at 16km range and using her as a sniper, and what a citadel beast she is 😍 Thank you for your content Terry, not only great information but I really love your commentary too.
Hi Terry 👋 great video just one request when you shooting may we see how the shells hit cause you zoom in before the shells hit just would like to see how the shells hit with that citadel
Ah, I see. I'm a cruiser player by heart, so as soon as the shells have left the barrel, I look at my surroundings, since that's essential for survival in a cruiser. Hard to not do that in a BB, but I'll try and include closer looks at the impact.
Hi Terry, I've got a question concerning the ongoing Christmas event. Would you rather advise me to get the Exeter or the Dunkerque as reward? (I am probably not able to get the Florida without spending real money). Great video by the way.
I'd probably take Dunkerque. She's not extremely powerful, but can be quite fun at T6, and has some uniqueness to her from the forward turret placement. Exeter was somewhat unique as a RN CA when she came out, but we've got a line for that now (and it's not very good). I'd probably take Emerald at T5 over Exeter. Unless you're a big fan of British cruisers for collector's purposes. This is just my personal opinion 😁
@@FunandGameswithTerry Thank you for your detailed answer and enjoy your holidays. I estimate the Florida is better than these two ships? I have seen you made a video about her recently.
Hi Terry! Hope you and your family have a great Christmas Holiday! As always, you made a nice video review. Things that should be in any proper reviews, were in the video, thanks for trying to give good info for those who might want to consider getting the ship! 1. I find the art department quite uncreative, as she really looks like a Kreml. 2. To my total disappointment, she is again released following the latest wg recipe, which is to mix the newly released ships in a gamble box with several other ships. The worst kind of gamble box possible. I would rather much pay in any sonar roulettes or any open-40/45-exact ship guranteed scheme. I think I will just wait until she is released in an exact ship+camo bundle, hope it is not going to happen too far in the future as players seem to lose interest in this game very fast due to the company's greedy policy 😁 3. Next time when you make ships video reviews, could you please be so kind not to immediately zoom out after you shoot with the main guns? I think players might actually want to see how actually the shells fly, how is the grouping of the shells, the shell arc, and how fast the shell travel to the target. 4. It is nice to see that you included in the video several ship stats that are not available in game such as the armor thickness. In the past, I always enjoyed watching Hiromi Isamu's videos because he put in his videos many external infornation like that, I think he got the stats extracted through a data mining process. Too bad it seems that he has stopped making videos perhaps due to real life obligations. I dont know from what sources you get your infornation but I really would like also to see infornation regarding shell balistics, dispersions, sigma, as well as armor values, etc. Could you perhaps point out any apps/websites that have such infornation, Terry? I really would like to know. World of tanks blitz has a nice external apps called tank compare, there we can see a lot of information regarding in game tanks which are not available in the game information tabs. If wowsb has that kind of info, it will be great, too! 5. I think there is no absolute obligation to get the ship if one has a Stalingrad or a Champagne. If there is a weekly citadel mission I always do that in a Champagne.
2. Yeah, I know. Big sigh. Honestly, I'm mostly making these reviews for when the ships cycle back as a bundle or shipyard item in the future, for reference, and so that you know what it can do if it shows up in the enemy team. 3. Yes, a couple of people have mentioned that. Background - I'm a cruiser main, and generally it's not a good idea to stay zoomed in, but instead have your head on a swivel if you want to survive. When I'm playing BB, I tend to look around for threats and decide where to go or what to engage next once the shells have left the barrels. I'm trying to remember to stay on target for reviews if I can 🙂 5. The hidden stats are from the CIC website, which is having Hiromi's datamined hidden stats. When I'm using them, I generally leave a link in the description. sites.google.com/view/wowsbcic/home
@@FunandGameswithTerry 2. Well noted. I will try to remember that when watching any future reviews so as not to have a lot of hope and anticipation. 😁 3. Thank you for your response. I, too, play more cruisers and dds than battleships, and I understand very well your reason to zoom out asap, I did that all the time when I still played wotb as in that game situational awareness is even more critical than in wowsb. It is likely that some players want to see how actually the shells travel and perform in real action, as the dispersion and sigma info are not readily available in the game tabs. 4. Many thanks for providing the address of those CIC info, Terry! Thank you very much appreciated! 🙏❤
@@arnoedgar8477 On 3, I’m a BB main, and I still always zoom out after shooting to check the mini map and to ensure I look around as staying zoomed in tends to encourage tunnel vision. 😂
So about the dispersion. Actually Elbing has the gun dispersion in the game. Even when accounting precising aiming, nothing really beats Elbing. Plus im pretty sure Stalingrad might have similar if not better dispersion than Slava. So yeah when ever you need to know the most precise ship in the game, just know that its Elbing.
I meant the best dispersion among T10 BBs, from what I've seen on CIC, unless I missed an obscure premium. 90/360 for min/max is tighter than everything I've seen so far
Great review Terry.. This bb is all about range, excellent pen, and accuracy; so going with dispersion mod is more reasonable i'de say, since you're gonna use it at range where you'll be more presice. At tX, -%disp>turret traverse all times. Another thing also is when you're turning off the auto aim, dont aim high on ships at long ranges that are going away or that show full broadside cuz it adds alot more range than visual aim sight, aim low or use auto aim. Last thing i'de like to share, is aim GK's bow any range, a place for full pens in a so well-armored battleship😄👍
u cant judge the guns properly until u try them , specially when it comes to soviet bbs i thought poltava was underpowered for t7 with its 356mm guns...turned out it was the best t7 bb !
I have a question will I ever get lucky with the crates and get a desired battleship because the black Yamato and shikishima are looking pretty good right about now
P.S I bought the limited gold discount offer in anticipation for this ship, only to find out that she is released in a gamble box with a lot of other ships I absolutely have no interest of getting whatsoever, all of them in a less than 1% drop chance. There is indeed a slava 'bundle'. A Camo, plus a few shipyard resources. Well, at least I have some gold reserve ready for future use. What a new year event. 👎👎👎
We've been leaving feedback accordingly with WG already, gamble crates really are not interesting. On very rare occasions, I spend 1k gold or so for a single 1+1 crate, and take whatever comes. I usually set limits before if I gamble. I'd never bring a credit card to a casino 😁
I like to play a variety of ships including sniper ships. I prefer German BB's, because I love to get in close and personal with the enemy ships. I also just got the GK yesterday at last but imma miss Freddy, it was a fun ship to play. Anyhow, I did want the Slava because sometimes I just want to provide long range fire support. I'll fs get this ship once it's out. Speaking of new ship lines, the Pan-Asian CL line is also gonna come out. From what I've seen, those ships will have no armor. In PC, you can dev strike them quite easily. They're effectively destroyers with a citadel.
Bạn có thể hướng dẫn tôi cách lên equipment cho Hiryu và Ranger không, tôi thường thua khi gặp các đối thủ là premium ship như Kaga, Graf Zeppelin, Saipan, Hornet, Ark Royal.
I find the history of Russian naval development fascinating. It's pretty much consistently a story of expectation versus reality.

Hey Terry! Do you know with which skills are the new French Battlecruisers coming with? I already want to start working on a Commander for them :c
No idea, sorry. CIC doesn't have any entries yet, either. I haven't seen anything on my press account, but I'll keep an eye out
