ISSUES - HOOLIGANS Gibby, if you love this group you'll love issues! Tyler Carter was actually the (clean) vocalist for this band in the past. He is now the Frontman for issues! 😁❤
@@ForeskinClippings cut his part out? Have you heard aj scream? The guy is a beast. I agree not having michael has definitely worsened the band, but aj is a more than capable screamer.
Woe, Is Me was such an amazing band. No repetetive chorus, just progressive songs. Issues is great don't get me wrong, but no band, not even issues will come close to this bands greatness.
Woe is me is stupid amounts of ahead of its time, it was their insane ability to be prog, pop, electronic, and metalcore in such a quick an impact full assault, in less than 3 minutes, they were zero body fat to their songs, unfortunately that only applies to their debut album
@@darrenthetuber743 people say wim was ahead of their time, but a bullet for pretty boy was before wim and Tyler was featured on one of their songs “i will destroy the wisdom of the wise” and then Tyler got into wim and basically copied a bullet for pretty boys sound. I still love wim (og line up) but abfpb was still before them.
Everyone knows Issues is the offspring of Woe is me. However, the best band of them all was the forming group, "Of Machines". Check out that band for one of musics' best kept secrets.
That’s Tyler from issues but in his old band. I’m so happy you enjoyed that brother. I’ve wanted this song for a minute. I’ve put it in like 3 comments on your videos lol
I'm just happy that some people have reacted to this "scene" era of core music. Most channels that do "heavy/metal" music focus on the uber popular classic stuff like Metallica, Slayer, Pantera, ettc and just like, the more mainstream metal that has a more traditional feel.
You'll want to check out Issues which is the new band of the clean vocalist (the unclean vocalist was too until his departure in 2016). Also other songs of woe, is me.
If you listen to the whole album, every song pretty much liquifies into each other and it sounds like one huge song. It's super satisfying. On Veiled Men goes straight into [&] Delinquents, that's why the song starts like that.
Michael Bohn(screams) and Tyler Carter(cleans) both left Woe Is Me and created the band Issues. Definitely check out their songs Hooligans, Stingray Affliction, and Blue Wall.
Clean vocalist is Tyler Carter. 'Screamer' is Michael Bohn. Issues is the current band. Although recently Michael Bohn did part ways. Still great music in the I think 3 albums they produced. Stringray Affliction, Hooligans, Love Sex Riot.
Both the vocalists in this video left Woe, Is Me and started a band called Issues. You should check out some of that bands stuff If you like the vocals as much as it looks like
Asking Alexandria- A single moment of sincerity 🔥🔥🔥🔥 Asking Alexandria- if you can’t ride 2 horses at once..... you should get out of the circus Stain the canvas- hell made me
As a new fan, you should know that this line up does change A LOT, unfortunately. So imma give you the run down. For this exact lineup, you'll wanna stick to their first album, Number(s)These were the only songs with Tyler Carter on cleans and Michael Bohn on screams, not including the single Fame>Demise, which is after their guitarist Tim Sherril left. Tyler Carter left second, after Fame>Demise and there was a song with just the replacement clean vocalist (Hance Alligood) before Michael left called Vengeance, which is dope. After Vengeance, Michael Bohn, Ben Ferris,(Keys/backing growls) and his brother Cory Ferris(bass) decided to leave and on their next Album "Genesis," was a nearly entirely new line up, leaving Kevin Hanson(guitar) and Austin Thornton,(drums) the last original members. And their final self titled is without the original drummer. Woe, is Me eventually broke up due to Hance Alligood's departure and the rest of the band not wanting to put the fans through another vocalist change. Michael and Tyler took their vocal duties to an amazing band called Issues for a few years until Michael was asked to leave. Issues is still rocking and Tyler can scream now. Michael reunited with Kevin Hanson from Woe, is Me and made a softer band called Wildheart with Michael on drums instead of screams. I suggest both of these bands as well as watching their funny ass tour videos.
I got a strong feeling you would love Memphis May Fire. They're whole first album is banger after banger after banger with strong screams and beautiful cleans.
The song the way I interpret it is a man who is drinking his life away because he is full of regrets and living in his past trying to numb himself to all the pain he feels for lost family. I love your reactions man! Keep it up! ❤
Gotta check Vengeance and Fame > Demise. They didn’t release too many more songs but the vocalist Tyler Carter went on to join the band ISSUES who released a ton of bangers to check out. Slow Me Down, Hooligans, and Mad at Myself to name a few.
Hi, Devin. I'm a fan of yours. Shout from the Philippines. Please do a reaction to the band called "Alazka" with their song "Blossom". You would love the clean vocals on that song. :) Keep safe.
metalcore/ post-hardcore has always had some straight fire clean vocalists. Tyler carter - woe, is me | issues | Jonny craig - Dance gavin dance | slaves | Isles and glaciers Tillian pearson - Dance gavin dance | tides of man Craig owens - Chiodos | Isles and glaciers Kellin quinn - sleeping with sirens Anthony green - saosin I mean there's a lot more, but I'm generally not a name person kinda guy, so a lot of the newer entries that are really good I just don't know their name. Then there's the ones like vic fuentes (pierce the veil) which while he is good, if you've heard anything kellin quinn. The problem is that you'll right of the bat compare him to kellin quinn, so it takes a bit of time for him to grow in and appreciate him for his own voice. Then there's Kurt travis (Dance gavin dance) basically he's usually thought of as the least impressive vocalist that the Dance gavin dance lineup has had, but on the other hand. I genuinly believe that any band/project that Kurt gets his hands on and has a good amount of say in how the music is played/composed and what not, just can not go wrong. Kurt travis - Dance gavin dance | A lot like birds | Royal coda | Eternity forever | so if you check out anything Kurt travis has been in. It should be A lot like birds and Eternity forever. A lot like birds is more on the post-hardcore side of things, while eternity forever is just generally a really good time.
Senses fail-if there is light it will find you. Trust me this on is great and uplifting since it about the lead singers newborn daughter. Also the band is from Jersey.
Guess who! It's ya boy, back again. Expect a chunk of Patreon requests from yours truly on Friday or Saturday big Gibb! Gonna give ya some songs that's gonna light you UP
Do a reaction to Mad At Myself by Issues! It's sung by Tyler Carter from Woe, Is Me and the screamer Michael Bohn from Woe, Is Me. It's not as heavy as this song but it's groovy as fuck!
I hate that Woe broke up. This whole album from start to finish is amazing but whatever happened and the members just kept leaving and leaving. I loved issues at first but their newer stuff I’m not into. But I’ll always have Number(s).
If you watch this then you need to check out Issues (like everyone else is saying lol). Listen to their first single off their debut album when they made a song hating on Woe, Is Me
The rabbit hole you just dove into by starting Woe, Is Me is very, very vast lol. A band with so much promise that flamed out due to infighting and drama before a 2nd album could even come out. The cleans singer (Tyler Carter) goes on to try solo stuff while they replace him and make a diss track. Then they kick out the screamer, Michael Bohn. Then Tyler/Michael make a new band called issues and Rise Records signs THEM and orchestrates a duel release date of the first WIM & Issues singles with the new lineups... BOTH of which are disstracks that contain information the bands wouldn't know unless it was at least partially fake lol. It was insane to experience in real time and you've got a lot of great music to listen to between these two groups.

Bad Vibes fun fact, both Michael and Tyler were in Woe Is Me and left and created Issues.

Dude you got some killer song choices today, im pumped for both!! These guys had some great music in their time together
Alex Newlun never forget the beef they had with issues back in the day 😂
Woe is me - Mannequin Religion , by far my favorite you should definitly listen to this one
Mathieu Bolduc hands down their best song. 🤘🏻
He's one of the greatest clean vocalist for the metalcore genre, he's a mux of rnb and metal
Snack Slack Id argue he’s the GOAT of clean vocals in metalcore. Either him or Jonny Craig
But johnny craig hates chugs and metalcore is all about chugs. I guess it would be tyler or josh gilbert of as i lay dying fighting for the 1 spot
Snack Slack I can agree with that. Jonny was more Post-Hardcore.
Everyone knows Issues is the offspring of Woe is me. However, the best band of them all was the forming group, "Of Machines". Check out that band for one of musics' best kept secrets.
