I first read this Story while in a Juvenile Wilderness Camp in the Mountains in the Early 90s. The fact that I am alive to watch people engage with the Story in such a multitude of perspectives and art forms is amazing and exciting.
I love this cast. Let's hope that Covid becomes less of an issue in the coming year, and we can see them all in the same room for these promotional interviews.

These kids are everything I ever wanted in these characters. The casting is _perfect._ I knew they would be good, but seeing them in the show, they've exceeded my expectations.

I really do love the diversity of the cast and background actors, despite some comments I heard in the beginning: "woke". As Zoe said, simply reflecting the world back as it is. It definitely feels natural and I love the casting of the main characters! The five - I can't imagine anyone else in those roles.

I agree with Madi that they didn’t just check a diversity box in casting, but truly hired the best actors for the roles. Great cast and great actors 💯.

27:00 I think from this sentiment that we can affirm that Madeleine wasn't so much cast as Egwene as Egwene was a character prepared long in advance for Madeleine.
The dumb thing about ep5 was that Lan's emotional breakdown would have been so much more logical and impactful if he did it when Moiraine supposedly died. The director Salli Richardson misappropriated this scene for her 2 lousy illogical episodes, and i will resent her forever for it. In addition, Salli Richardson also made Moiraine swear on the oath rod just for her to comply with the exile, but she missed to golden opportunity for Liandrin to accuse Moiraine as black ajah by blaming Moiraine for transporting trollocs around the continent. That would be an excellent reason for Siuan to require Moiraine to reswear her oaths.
This show could have been so good...if only they had writers and a showrunner who cared about the source material. I don't mind the casting so much as I understand finding someone who can both act and look like the book descriptions can be difficult but damn... with amazing source material this could have been spectacular.
Halfway thru filming Season 2!!! Pls add more dialogue, pls improve the continuity during editing, pls improve the plot logic, pls make the great serpent rings look nicer, pls , pls don't let Salli Richardson direct again, use more Ciaran Donelly and Wayne Yip instead! Great portrayals btw, I love that scene in the tavern in EP7 where the TR4 argue about whether to go to EOTW, it really showcased the personalities of the TR4, and it was realistic because the TR4 plus Mat grew up together, so there would be much less restraint when you talk to/about each other.
I like that Josha’s actually reading the books! I think they would all benefit from it, but hey 🤷🏾♀️
They are; I've heard the other actors mention reading the books in other interviews. :)
they are all (have stated in previous interviews) Josha is just much further along

I love how Daniel plays and jokes around with the younger cast. On a side note, Josha and Marcus always manage to crack me up in their interviews.

I enjoyed this show, very entertaining. I love the interesting lore. Hoping the vfx and cinematography be improved by bigger budget on season 2.
