Some people think of Cinderella as not a role model cuz she’s weak, but she’s far from it. -She’s Kind to everyone even to those who aren’t kind back (Especially her step family😒) -She works hard & doesn’t complain -She dreams big out of noble intentions whereas her step family’s intentions were NOT -She Shows Courage In the Times She has to be -She follows her heart all the way So as you think about it more often, she’s a pretty good role model 👸🏼
She also, deep down IMHO, is annoyed at her lot in life. In particular, when she calls the palace clock an " old killjoy", is sarcastic with Lucifer at the beginning, stands up for herself when she hears about the invitation to the Ball, and she, somewhat flippantly, interrupts her stepmother by saying "Yes, goodnight!" before the stepfamily is going to the Ball.
So, so happy you mentioned Ilene Woods! She deserves so much respect, and is the Queen we didn't deserve. So happy she played a part in my favorite movie
Well pretty no footage exists today. They're certainly are still photo's, but that's because the animators would only keep a few key frames and poses, then get rid of the rest. Also because a lot of people who worked on Cinderella also did Sleeping Beauty. Most notably Helene Stanley who was the live reference for Cinderella and Aurora (also Anastasia surprised they didn't mention that), Eleanor Audley who was the voice and reference for Lady Tremaine and Maleficent, and Verna Felton as the voice of the Fairy Godmother and Flora.
I got the brand new Cinderella Blu-Ray today from the Disney Movie Club. I'm excited, since this is the first time I'll be watching the movie in almost two decades. Besides Kingdom Hearts, the last time I saw Cinderella was on VHS in the early 2000's
Retro Vybz Ikr. I don’t understand why they had to abandon the cartoon ones altogether. CGI is great but that’s no reason to eliminate what originally worked.
Indeed. Films like Snow White and The 7 Dwarfs, Pinocchio, Cinderella, Alice in Wonderland, Peter Pan, Lady and the Tramp, Sleeping Beauty, 101 Dalmatians, The Aristocats, The Little Mermaid, Aladdin, Hercules, Pocahontas II: Journey to the new world (apparently), even today with Ralph Breaks the Internet and Frozen II.
Number 10 is a very similar situation to Snow White and the seven dwarfs, were they prince was hardly in it and only appeared at the beginning and end of the movie respectively.
Indeed. There was gonna be much more of Florian. For example there was gonna be a seen of him getting captured by the Evil Queen and then breaking out of prison to rescue Snow White from the sleeping death. But it was cut because it was gonna be to expensive, didn't really fit the story, and Florian was one of the hardest things to animate in the whole movie.
It's ironic... these "helpless" heroines who need saving in the film, are the studio's constant financial heroes - Snow White, Cinderella, Ariel, Tiana. They are the ones who come to rescue of a helpless mouse who needs saving :)
I love the movie, Cinderella, starring Leslie Ann Warren. I grew up watching that, but soon around 1974 they stopped airing it anywhere. I haven't seen the full version since then, but I found that u can buy the full version for $3.99 now and I'm going to definitely buy it. The songs were spectacular, especially"It's Possible" things are happening every day! 😁
ana r hey, I'm going by what they'd said about Bambi having been a flop There's been other my movies that had been massive flops and they've had sequels made
@@anar8343 because it was a flop when it first came out, in fact so were Pinocchio and Fantasia, but after several re-releases into theatres it eventually became one of Disney's most iconic films.
@@anar8343 Yes. It not as common nowadays as DVDs, on demand, and Disney+ exist, but back in the 40s, 50, 60s, and 70s, that was kinda the only way to see movies. As the internet wasn't a thing, and home video wasn't a thing until the 1980s. Really the only other way to see a movie was if it was shown on TV in some form. (Which also wasn't a thing until after Cinderella) but you still couldn't record it so you'd have to see it then or wait forever. Fortunately every few Sundays or so "The Wonderful World of Disney" show on ABC would show movies. And today Disney took the recordings of Walt introducing the film and placed them in the bonus features of the DVDs. Some Examples I found are, Alice in Wonderland, Dumbo, and Johnny Appleseed.
Well it wasn't "tracing" persay. They would trace a few frames then draw the rest themselves. Also they gave it a bit more of a cartoony animated flair. Eg. Making the eyes bigger.
Very very great list I like it a lot and a lot of fun too and very funny too one of the very best Disney movies ever and a great movie list too great job mis mojo please do more videos like this one please

The animated Cinderella is still one of my fave classic fairytale movies i loved the animation and the songs in it ..

Even up until today for as long as I can remember cinderella has always been my favorite princess
I always knew Cinderella and Aurora were the same person.
Those two princesses are bomb 😋🙂
@Pierre Buie II because Disney use the same model for them
And they're also Anastasia, Anita, and Polly Crockett.
I didn't I must have missed it
Cinderella will always be favorite Disney princess
Same💙
The voice of Cruella DeVille narrates the opening sequence
The dress scene was Walt Disney favorite animation scene

I really dislike how in Frozen, Anna & Elsa have those huge unrealistic eyes 👀
True that, man. When in doubt, if you want something down right, then you must do it yourself!
How about Top 10 Fun Facts about Sleeping Beauty! With Maleficent 2 coming out, we ought to know about Aurora a lot!!!
Mike Smith heck ya!

Another fact: Cinderella's Castle is shown on Every opening to Any Disney Movie from 1985 to On Forward
It looks like these facts made Cinderella a big hit.
The number 1 slot of her saving Disney from going bankruptcy is a triumphant legacy! In a way of saying it, Cinderella was the hero who saved the day!
The live action were filmed in almost all Disney movies including Alice in wonderland

Cinderella 2? Or the live action...

Also, the King and the Grand Duke shared the same voice and live-action reference.
Yep. Louis Van Rooten.
#10 He even had a solo song that was deleted.
#2 I would have liked to see that alternative ending.
Actually the live action version of it which came in 2015 with lily James and Richard Madden has a similar ending that was rejected.
There was an ending similar to the alternate ending in the live-action remake.

Hi Ms. Mojo! Can you do Top 10 moments of Cinderella (2015)? :D
Cool Fun Facts!
Do a video about Sleeping Beauty please! It’s my favorite Disney movie
If the Queen of Hearts was Cinderella's fairy godmother, Lady Tremaine would've been off with her head.
The animators traced on top of the live action in a lot of the scenes
But I love how Disney say that it was just for a reference
