Women are not more emotional, everybody is different. Some may be, some may be not.
I'm not emotional and proud.
At least when judging by the internet and seeing what people actually complain about, men seem to be actually the MOST emotional when it comes to romance, especially when their crush is not liking them back or being single for a long time/permanently. But that could be wrong again. I think its very individual.
Women ARE more emotional than men. They are proven to have a stronger sense of empathy and are more prone to crying, women also are the more social gender. Another thing to keep in mind is that women tend to judge based on feelings (emotions) while men tend to judge based on logic.

I've known 2 girls that are the smartest and best in sport people I've ever met in my entire life. Also, one of them is a blonde, none of them really cares about their appearance, they also never wear makeup, and none of them are really emotional...
