- Hello :) this is just a quick little cooking video of my favorite patties, that are popular in Russian area, for you, while I'm working on new videos :) I made buckwheat and beef patties, they were very yummy ^.^ I apologize for the usage of meat product, I know many of you do not consume meat, so I hope to make more meatless recipes soon for you :) Thank you

I'm a vegan, and this video does not offend me nor should it offend you. Beef is in the title... it's her life and her choice.
And to my vegan friends: this can easily be made vegan. Just use only buckwheat as she suggested, or I suppose you could also use a tofu crumble. As for the egg, you can use some other think with a similar stickiness as eggs. I have used peanut oil and soy butter and both worked for me.

I am vegetarian but I am aware that the whole world will never be vegetarian, I know that. But I would like to say that I am very grateful that you are very aware of vegetarians (the parts where she covered the raw meat etc) because didn't have to do that. Your such a lovely person!

And if they survive all that, they land in the stomach where they melt to death in unbelievable pain from the acid.

Well shiet the only problem is that plants don't have pain sensors, so it's not a big deal. They die after being picked anyway, but an animal is hurt way more, and it feels pain. :))))

***** Actually, humans have a nuchal ligament - developed in humans and some animals expressly for the purpose of running. Humans are designed to be distance runners because this is how we used to capture prey (before having tools and technology) - by outlasting it while running. Humans can sweat, whereas animals cannot, so an animal would eventually have to stop. It's kind of fascinating if you want to look it up sometime.

I actually just tried this recipe tonight. I should have probably used a second egg as a binder, and I don't know exactly how to tell when the buckwheat is done, but I absolutely loved the flavors! I'm really glad I tried the recipe, and my family liked the results as well. I know most people just tune in for the ASMR, but I was so fascinated by the buckwheat that I had to try it. (I had to go on Amazon to find the buckwheat, though. I work in a grocery store and no one could find it!) My mother agrees with Maria, she could probably just eat it straight with a bit of ketchup. :) Thanks Maria! This was a great experience!

In Finland we eat buckwheat :) Love the video. I didn't know ASMR had a word even but now I'm so glad I learned it. I've had this since as long as I remember, first memories are of ASMR triggered by pretty much everything my granny did. It started weirding me out by the time I was teenager and young adult. So many other things trigger it too, so happy to know I'm not alone. And how well Maria knows exactly what will trigger it, knowing other people experience it and can analyse it so well is very... validating. I hope they figure out what's actually causing it!

it's so it cooks evenly throughout. triangles might work but with shapes like stars the smaller arms would be dry by the time the center was fully cooked

BowTy I have the same problem as you. The only advice I can give is for you to watch a few phan moment compilation videos. They'll raise your fangirling, but will ease your hunger for more phan. Hope this helps!

I personally don't eat meat, but raw meat does gross me out, so I just listened and didn't watch :) I appreciate your thought and concern for those of us who aren't meat eaters though! I don't understand why there are so many non meat eaters/vegetarians/vegans here complaining about the usage of meat. If you aren't a meat eater,which is totally fine-you can't watch this video and complain, because Maria makes it perfectly clear that this video contains MEAT,so please stop all the wars in the comments about being a vegetarian or not-it's personal choice but you cannot complain about this kind of video when it is painfully obvious it contains animal products.

This is one of my favorite ASMR videos for the ASMR effect, but I also REALLY want to make the dish! So last night I finally went to the store to get all the ingredients. Got them all until it came to the most crucial part...the buckwheat! Two grocery stores didn't have it and both places smirked at me when I asked where the buckwheat was! I don't think either place knew exactly what it was! Turns out you do basically have to look in a "European foods store." Who knew buckwheat was such a hard thing to find! I did find a store that most likely carries it, so I'll try again this weekend. Until then I did buy ALL the ingredients to make the toffee crackles from your other video! lol
