- My first VHS review in almost 2 months. I greatly apologize for this large gap, the reasons for this are as stated in this review. But, better late than never. I hope you all enjoy this Noddy VHS review.

No need to apologise. You can’t help it if you’re busy with other things, that’s understandable. I watched both Noddy’s Toyland Adventures and Make Way for Noddy as a kid but watching Make Way for Noddy years later, I have to agree that the pacing is too slow and the GCI wasn’t great. I enjoyed it back then, not so much now.
Noddy’s Toyland Adventures is a far better version in my opinion. Jimmy Hibbert and the late Susan Sheridan were brilliant voice actors in this series.
About 6 years ago or so, I discovered that Cosgrove Hall made another Noddy adaptation before this one simply called Noddy, narrated by the late Richard Briers. That one is from around 1975. That one is also quite good, it’s worth checking out. 😊

There's a very fun fact about me watching Noddy. Make Way for Noddy was the first Noddy series ever saw when I was young, then I saw Noddy's Toyland Adventures, and I saw Noddy in Toyland on Milkshake in 2010. I also remember watching Make Way for Noddy on Milkshake until 2016. I used to have a Make Way for Noddy DVD when I was younger which was Noddy Builds a Rocketship, but sadly, I used to give it away to my cousins. But luckily in 2017, my cousins gave it back to me along with Dumbo (1941).
I actually do like how there are some episodes appstablishing that Noddy's car can move on it's own since it does appear to be sentient in a lot of episodes despite not having a face and communicating with its horn
I was originally going to come up with Noddy Saves Christmas as a Christmas special of your VHS Reviews, but then I was like "No, it's Make Way for Noddy!"
Well that god you decided against that.
It's funny that Noddy's Toyland Adventures didn't get DVD releases except for Noddy in Toyland (not the 2009 series) which is The Noddy Shop, the Noddy series that aired in the US with three Toyland Adventures episodes which are Noddy Meets Some Silly Hens, Noddy Lends a Hand and Noddy and his Unhappy Car. We only have Make Way for Noddy and Noddy in Toyland on DVD.
It's funny that you think Big Ears should've been called Big Beard!

When you mentioned there must be some bowling Skittles that hate being knocked over there was one Skittle in Make Way for Noddy named Skippy who didn't like being knocked over and he was very confused by his mother and siblings liked being knocked over

When I was watching: Thomas and Friends Marvelous Machinery, Bernie sounded like Sly in one scene.

I wonder why Noddy couldn't just do the roof up on his car assuming that's what the black thing behind the seat that way he didn't need to carry an umbrella while driving in the rain
It’s probably an open top only car.
In Redcliffe railway tales would you consider making getting the Lego Toy Story Train to play a new character in a future episode

Except for Sly and Gobbo's redesign and their names being switch around, I agree too. Noddy in Toyland is better than Make Way
@@aimemontanari Their names weren't switched in Make Way, it was the reboot that came after that.
@@ReeceWilliams-vu8sn that's what I said. I agree that Noddy in Toyland is better than Make Way. The only thing I don't like about Noddy in Toyland is Sly and Gobbo's switched names and redesigns
@@aimemontanari I'd say the latest Noddy reboot, Toyland Detective is the worst so far for a number of reasons.
First Noddy and Big Ears were by houses and then just trees! Well, it’s just a a toy scene.

He had plenty of time to. He was probably just too distracted by it coming towards him.
I've just watched Keith Chapman's new show Mighty Express on Netflix it's almost like a mix between his other popular show Paw Patrol Thomas and Friends and maybe a bit of Chuggington
I’ve never seen vhs reviews before this but i must say, this is a good spin on the genre.
Also i don’t get why sixpence was such a big point of the show because they stopped being used in around 1970, when the show actually came out in 1992.
Thx m8, I knew doing it this way would be unique. And I have no idea. But sixpences were still around when Noddy was created, so I guess it was a step in keeping the series faithful to its source material.

I quite like it, but it’s not as good as the live action series and films.
@@trainlover16 yes I can agree with you on that the live action ones are so much better well I guess the Animated Series was meant to show Mr Bean doing things that he otherwise couldn't do in live action which I guess was why they made the animated series in the first place
