It's really interesting to see how Christmas celebrations differ from country to country. Here in the Czech Republic we receive gifts on Christmas Eve in the evening but they're not brought by Santa, they're brought by Baby Jesus 😊

So in Spain you do celebrate Epiphany (6th January) but not Christmas Eve/Christmas day (24/25th December)...isn't it? Here in Italy it is used to giving gifts on Christmas Eve or at least on Christmas day. Here people mostly celebrate Christmas. For the 6th of January usually children (and sometimes adults too!😆😜) hang up stockings on the fireplace. Tradition wants that during the night between 5th and 6th January Befana fill up the stockings with sweets, in case you have been a good boy, or carbon, if you have been a bad boy😉.
Just one clarification: in some regions of the North side of Italy presents are given by Saint Lucy or Saint Nicholas. As for example, in Brescia and Bergamo tradition says that Saint Lucy arrives on the 7th of December and she brings presents to children. They do celebrate Christmas day but gifts are given just on Saint Lucy's day.
Yeah, that’s it! We receive the presents on the 6th although in some parts of the country they receive them for Christmas, but most people on the 6th😊
