Why does Rukia use Tsukishiro in her base form as her Kikon move when she hasn't even awakened into her shikai yet 1:02-1:09?
So strange

there's a lot of instances where characters use their shikai abilties and release their swords into shikai form during kikon moves then go back to normal after the animation. But once they awaken thats when their shikai will just be activated permanently and not just for a quick animation.
