Ackman proved his case, his mistake was underestimating Herbalife and the resources Ican would throw to back it.
Ackman got wrecked in the end. Cost him something like half a billion. Icahn won big.
Do you honestly believe he didn't ensure that position and convert it into a bet using put options?
Regardless of how much money he has made, Icahn comes off as a thug and a bully. Ackman comes across much better in comparison even if he was on the losing side of their feud

For sure. About ten years after this happened, the puff-piece self-titled documentary came out on hbo. Please note I have no problem with Icahn's investment activity but I personally probably wouldn't get along with him. Not that he would care either way, and that's probably the problem👌
Icahn is old school. His force of personality tells you everything you need to know about his investment style. He bullied Ackman and won the battle on Herbalife. But I think Ackman will come out ahead in the game of life.

Please explain how we can benefit from this inflation! Between December 2007 and August 2008, I increased my reserve from $230k to over $791k but the market has changed since then.
There are numerous ways to make money right now, but only real-time professionals can complete such high-volume, near-perfect transactions.
The stock won't be making significant increases due to inflation. It wouldn't be a terrible idea to BUY it now, but don't anticipate seeing significant returns for some time. When things start to turn around in all those difficulty spots, I'll buy. Until then, there's just too much upheaval for me.
Multi level marketing structures should be outlawed or regulated out of existence. The always same bunch on the top is exploiting their “downline”, typically desperate people who are deceived into pursuing the wring dream.
