I missed Tyler singing about his beliefs so much. This is beautiful and made me cry 😢❤
Me too, I don't usually cry but the way tyler sings this song does something to my soul, it's so beautiful
Agreed. I missed Tyler from Blurryface.
Fr bro. I love TOP but he definitely sold his soul for fame
@@HomophobicHomieYep, and this is the reason why in 2019 he still talked about his faith, and their latest album is worse rated than the previous ones and they started to lose interest among many "fans" 😂 Stop misleading people. I keep hearing that some artist sold his soul because he achieved success. As if God couldn't give a person talent and fame. After all, if you work hard, success will come. Tyler works very hard and the success came. Try it and stop writing fairy tales on the internet because it's very rude to talk like that about a person you don't even know personally |-/
He still does, actually listen to his lyrics… it’s subliminal but all his songs are about God!
Tyler Joseph is the most underappreciated singer and musician. His voice is so pure, powerful and has so much feeling in it. Its beyond belief.
And his mind is the most creative I've ever seen in music
Tyler's voice is so comforting..
Seriously!!
It really is. *sigh*
I love how all christian twenty one pilots are just coming together 😭 I LOVE IT
This is so lyrically similar to Tyler’s earliest stuff. Very clear he was influenced by SF; must be full circle for him to now be part of their discography.
I wish Tyler would return to that
same ;-; @@savingrob
“Next semester” gave me some ST vibes
@@jtika1978 you mean Backslide
@@yhfie nope. I meant text semester
Hearing Jon Foreman come in at the end singing with Tyler gives me goosebumps, and I've heard this version of this song hundreds of times now.
Tyler’s voice is the most relaxing thing ever
I’m so happy that Tyler is singing about Christianity again. We need it.
amen, i hope the LORD works on him
@@jvkingempanadwhat do you mean “works on him”?
@house0paine535 I'd say, he needs growing in his faith like everyone else. He's got a massive platform and I'd hope that he'd allow God to use him for his plans. Doesn't mean to shove Christianity down people's throats though
So you guys want him to recruit more people into a cult. Got it.
@@atable2505how is christianity a cult? not trying to be mean, just genuinely wondering.
my favorite switchfoot song and my favorite band 21 pilots
Love hearing Tyler sing about his faith. We all need Jesus. Holy Spirit take us up raise our dead bodies to live with You🙏🏾
Amen!!!
oook calm down with the religion around here :)) we all love twenty one pilots but this is just a cover song, we all know what tyler think about religion and jesus :)) no reason to get too fanatic , its just music for your soul :)
@@MitzyGodsmack appreciate the input! I see otherwise and I will gladly express this. I’m a bit top fan myself and i know that he and Josh are both actually Christians
@@cameron5040 so am I. But that doesn't mean anything. It's just the family you were raised in were Christians so by default so are you. But Tyler said after trench that he always questioned the existence of god and so far all indicators show that it's a man invented story just like Santa etc...
@@MitzyGodsmackall indicators show the Bible is a man made story like Santa Claus? That’s malicious ignorance if I’ve ever heard it.
You don’t know a single thing about this dude and you think he’s only a Christian because of his family….?
Okay buddy. How often do you get on the Internet and just type out of your ass?
Hearing Tyler sing something new is always exciting.
We needed this song years ago and we still need it now. Hearing Tyler sing it warms my soul. So good. |-/ 💛
Can you believe it was 20 years since that album was released?
Oh my,… This is such a ethereal cover, i cant breathe. 💜 |-/
What? Clancy is that you? I had no idea Tyler was Christian 😢
I listen to 21 pilots and switchfoot daily, & just now finding this collaboration ! This blessed me ❤
If you had no idea that Tyler was a Christian then you haven't really been listening to his lyrics all that much. Backslide he says: "I should've loved you better." which is a direct sentence to God. In his earlier songs like Implicit Demand for Proof that is a direct song to God. In Addict With A Pen that's a song to God. Majority of his songs are about his faith and mental well being.
There is an album called Clear by a Christian artist called Whitaker which has songs featuring Tyler. And Josh Dun drums on the album. This is a link to the songs with Tyler - th-cam.com/video/b2jH-ynmlEQ/w-d-xo.html
Wow listen to taxi cab, trees, addict with a pen again and you'll see it even chlorine at the end it's all so obvious once you see it ❤
Tyler just broke my heart all over again🥹 this cover is so pretty
This empty pool is giving me Chlorine music video vibes. Coincidence??
I loved this album so much twenty years ago, and Tyler’s vocals are absolutely making this song come to life again - I can’t stop listening!
I am so ready for new tøp music!!!!!
Four days til Clancy, babe!
LA VOZ DE TYLER SUENA TAN BIEN, DIOS LO EXTRAÑE MUCHÍSIMO😭
THIS COMMENT MAKES IT SOUND LIKE HE IS DEAD
@@loganweaver5868JAJAJ you're right XD
I can’t get enough, & can’t can’t stop crying. Tyler’s version is just beautiful & amazing…just as we knew it would be & love hearing him sing (w/o hidden meanings) about his faith again.
I cried more to this version of the song than I've ever cried to a song, everything about it is so beautiful, you can tell Tyler put his heart and soul into it and him singing about faith is something that just touched my heart
Not me thinking this must fit into the lore somehow 🙈
Y pensar que en menos de un mes se cumplirá un año esta obra de arte.
Quien en pleno agosto 26, 2024?!!
Twenty-four oceans
Twenty-four skies
Twenty-four failures
And twenty-four tries
Twenty-four finds me
In twenty-fourth place
With twenty-four drop outs
At the end of the day
Life is not what I thought it was
Twenty-four hours ago
Still I'm singing 'Spirit,
Take me up in arms with You'
And I'm not who I thought I was
Twenty-four hours ago
Still I'm singing 'Spirit,
Take me up in arms with You'
There's twenty-four reasons
To admit that I'm wrong
With all my excuses
Still twenty-four strong
See, I'm not copping out
Not copping out
Not copping out
When you're raising the dead in me
Oh, oh
I am the second man
Oh, oh
I am the second man now
Oh, I am the second man now
And you're raising these
Twenty-four voices
With twenty-four hearts
All of my symphonies
In twenty-four parts
But I want to be one today
Centered and true
I'm singing 'Spirit take me up in arms with You'
You're raising the dead in me
Oh, oh
I am the second man
Oh, oh
I am the second man now
Oh
I am the second man now
And you're raising the dead in me
Yeah
I want to see miracles
To see the world change
Wrestled the angel for more than a name
For more than a feeling
For more than a cause
I'm singing 'Spirit, take me up in arms with You'
And you're raising the dead in me
Twenty-four oceans
With twenty-four hearts
All of my symphonies
With twenty-four parts
Life is not what I thought it was
Twenty-four hours ago
Still I'm singing 'Spirit,
Take me up in arms with You'
I'm not copping out
Not copping out
Oh my gosh.... ALL THESE YEARS I thought it was
"I'm not cocky now
Not cocky now
not cocky now"
BUT IT'S "COPPING OUT"!? FRICK!
@@SirLabalot😂😂😂 this made me literally laugh out loud. Thanks for sharing your mis-heard lyrics! 😂
@@luker1431 Hahaha!! I'm glad you enjoyed. But seriously, go listen to the original recording and tell me it doesn't sound like "cocky now"! XD
You guys decided to open the multiverse of master pieces and it's beyond great I thought it could be.
Tyler tu voz es tan hermosa, ya extrañabamos algo nuevo con tu voz 🥺🥰
Hearing Tyler sing 'I wanna be one today, centered and true' - That hits hard. 'Levitate' and 'Morph' may be honest, but they need the balance of songs like these. I think the world needs songs of hope right now.
I agree. In Trench it seemed like he was struggling with doubt, maybe even moreso than ever before. Leave The City along with the songs you mentioned shows that. But hearing a song like this is great.
Not sure I agree. If Swtichfoot's music is to point to a Hope, Twenty One Pilots' music is to get those in the void of life to first look up. Most people Twenty One Pilots reach are struggling just to find any meaning in this life. TOP is "Stay Alive, there is more to life," to SF's "Forgiveness is right where you fell."
@@papafhill9126 True. I appreciate Tyler's normal style as well. I think the longing to hear Tyler sing about hope is because of the more personal connection we as fans have developed with him, even if only through music. You get to hoping that he's alright himself and that he still believes the things that gave him hope in his darkest places - The things he began singing about when he was just a teenager. I think that's why these lines hit so hard to me. Even if the Christian themes are more covert in Tyler's music, they're still the backbone of what started all of this for him. That's my feeling, anyway.
I am a strong believer that the next album has to be the most “hope” related one, since we already all the way in.
Oh couldn’t I have been more confused. Hahaha
okay. Now i'm tearing up. dadgummit Tyler.
Another reason why I'm still COMPLETELY DEVOTED to Twenty One Pilots for so many years now. The purity of Tyler's voice still gives me goosebumps after all this time. And the beauty of this song reminds me of his earlier recordings full of faith & worship & his belief of God & all that it entails. Tu Tyler for gifting us all with this message of hope. 😇❤️🔥❤️🔥❤️🔥❤️🔥
This is a match made in heaven! 🙌
This is AMAZING. I am a huge twenty one pilots fan and swithfoot fan. To hear them singing togethor at the end brought me to heaven for 30 seconds.
That was my favourite part.
Yesss! ❤
Yessss, same here!
How many people are just discovering this and feel great joy right now 😁
Read my mind!!! :)
Yep… right here! 👋🏻👋🏻
@@cristymaday981 Welcome to the party! ^-^
Meeee!!!! 🙌
His voice breaks when he is crying but leaves it in ❤ he is the real deal and he expresses where he got that gift. The companion voice with him plays a character in the song as the spirit like a warm sweet whale sound schmoo character/Ned that joins him loudly on the chorus the at end he is joined with spirit and john , precious sweet and timeless thans sfoot and tj and God😢😢😢🎉❤😂😂
I’ve always thought it was Tyler’s music that created the earworm, but now I’m thinking it’s his voice!
Right? I think it’s both, but probably more so his voice. Tyler’s voice was the first thing (of many) that originally drew me to twenty one pilots
This song fits his voice and musical style so well! I’m so glad they chose to have him do his version of it.
I originally thought this was ai, so i ignored it. It is so nice to hear tyler's real voice again in a studio setting. Absolutely beautiful.
it's really sad that we live in a world where we have to paranoid about this stuff...*sigh*
Jon Foreman from Switchfoot said: ''I wrote this song near the end of my 24th year on this planet. Wherever we run, wherever the sun finds us when he rises, we remain stuck with ourselves. That can be overwhelming. Sometimes I feel like my soul is polluted with politicians, each with a different point of view. With all 24 of them in disagreement, each voice is yelling to be heard. And so I am divided against myself. I’ve heard that the truth will set you free. That’s what I’m living for: freedom of spirit. I find unity and peace in none of the diversions that this world offers. But I’ve seen glimpses of truth and that’s where I want to run.''
Beautiful
Man, I needed to read that... thanks for sharing
I love that you guys are calling Jonas Brothers, Tyler and Adam for these covers. May God use you for His glory.
❤🥹
Collaboration = Unity
I knew Tyler was a footy
Beautiful song… absolutely adore Tyler’s version ❤
I really needed this rn my parents are doing things i would not like to discuss and this man is the thing that helped me through my highs and lows i just wanna say thank you tyler and josh thank you for helping me and continuing to do so
Stay alive people its worth itttttt!!!!❤❤❤❤
Just remember, all this stuff you are forced to deal w because of your parents, will all disappear once you are old enough to determine your own path in life. Stay strong, stay true to yourself. And, it is always worth it to stay alive!! There is ALWAYS hope for a better tomorrow. ❤️🔥❤️🔥
SWITCHFOOT'S music is healing... no matter who sings it. You hold on to God's promise to never let you go because He can not lie and He's got you!

La escuché por primera vez cuando tenía 24 años de edad ❤
As a huge twenty one pilots fan, and someone who listened to this album on repeat as a kid, I am super upset that I did not know about this.
Que hermosa interpretación, un ídolo
