    The width of that new FECON head came in handy there. Like all of your jobs, your
    customer hands you a forest, and you gave them back a park. Great job. *God bless.*

    I cannot stop admiring the efficiency of the machine. Excellent for forest management. With the amount of wood fires across the country this system of cleaning the woods should be standard. Well done to all of you guys.

    What started out as an overgrown wood turns into a nice park. All you need now is a picnic table and a fire pit, and some marshmallows of course. Very cool.

    John, that was some thick undergrowth, but that Fecon unit made it look a lot better and the owner can now see what is there a lot better and as usual, you and your crew did a great job.

    Most likely the old "roads" were the traces of haul roads from a long time ago when timber was harvested out of the forest.

    Just subscribed to Upstate Brush Control. Important concept! Grooming is good for property and other stuff. I run a Deere 333E now and interested to learn your experiences with the ASV. When I was in the market to buy, those were in limbo, and the Deere dealer made me a deal I couldn’t refuse.

    It’s interesting the in the south you think of mountain laurel as something akin to a noxious weed, in Pennsylvania it is the state flower and is a protected species.

    Just an idea for film content, how about start the film with a plant ID of the plants you will be mulching. Living on the LEFT coast we would learn more about what plants and trees you have on the East coast. Close ups of the leaves so we could identify poison oak, kudzu etc. Would not take a lot of time we would just see what you have to deal with. And maybe at the end show what surprises you had on that job.

    Hi, I’m sorry for the late comment. I just now found your video. I have been looking to build on land in Western NC. Unfortunately most lots are covered with this Mtn Laurel. I have dogs and am afraid of them being poisoned by it. Once you take it all down, do you do anything to keep it from growing back? I read that it does this. Thanks

    • @UpstateBrushControl
      @UpstateBrushControl  ปีที่แล้ว

      You'd have to completely remove the root system. Forestry mulching tree or bushes simply cuts them back. There will be regrowth if not maintained.

    What is the property owner going to do with the cleared area? Laurel is such a great native plant. I hope they save some.
