Spend 2 days because my camera wouldn’t start after a DriverEasy Update... tried everything... finally uninstalling DriverEasy update, restart.. then Regedit (as you mentioned) and Uninstall driver (with checkbox ticked) restart and it’s working fine...I must admit that I did do other things but it didn’t work on it’s own... so I’m hoping regedit and adding CameraHostUI to allowed apps did the trick... Windows support just tried few things and asked to reset pc... it takes months and years to set up your workspace and expecting to undo all that kills! so THANK YOU SO MUCH... your saved me!
In the end, it was simply just my keyboard shortcut that enabled "Block Recording Mode". I've learned a valuable lesson here. Sometimes the problem is very simple. Thank you man, God bless you!

So I was configuring the setting of my OBS in Streamlabs, adjusting the hue and saturation when the camera freezes when I was adjusting the sharpness. I closed the software but the light on my webcam is still on. I checked device manager and my camera is not there. I unplug it and plug it again and it popped up in my device manager, but it will automatically be gone when I open OBS or even the Camera app. But its working on Google Meet and video call in Messenger. The only problem is the quality of my webcam got effed up, it was stuck on the settings that I left on the Streamlabs which very grainy and the sharpness maxed out.

For anyone that still have this problem, especially for error 0xA00F4292 PhotoCaptureStartTimeOut. You can try one more step which is turning off the webcam protection on your anti-virus settings. It kinda blocked everything that it finds threatening. So, yeah.. could give it a try.
@@nitinbhattacharyya8784 I'm not sure if firewall actually blocked the camera feature.. but you can search on your settings for 'Firewall & network protection', then you'll see the option "allow an app through firewall" Check if camera feature is allowed.. I used Kaspersky so this option is grayed out on my laptop.

@@JRoy-lk6mv I think it is the HP 2-in-1 laptop issue, or Intel's video card issue. There have been numerous Intel online updates. There was once the camera works with Line app, but soon after more updates, that functionality was lost again and never returns.

If you can't do it manually, try download driver booster and using that or the device manager automatic function

i think its better you dont do that, because then you will have to install all kinds of programs to reinstall the driver, but those cost money
