Well I understand that Gabriella saw singing as a hobby and that Sharpay saw the theater as her life. But you have to also see that Gabriella and Troy: 1. Respected Kelsi and never tried to make her feel inferior. 2. They both sang the songs exactly like Kelsi wrote them. 3. We're more natural actors who sang the song with passion and slipped into character effortlessly, while many of Sharpay's performances were very hammy and not in character ( you can see this in the "All I Want to Do" song versions with Troy & Gabriella vs Sharpay). 5. While Gabriella was trying to make everyone feel better and good about themselves, Sharpay only saw people as pawns in a game of chess until the Tiara Gold incident and the actress from Sharpay's Fabulous Adventure made her realize how she had been acting. 6. Gabriella cared and supported Troy as a person and his opinions but Sharpay saw him as a trophy Even Ms. Darby's was not excited at the thought of Sharpay having a one woman show or talking Gabriella's place.
Exactly! Plus, it's a school musical. Any student can audition. Not everyone in the show is going to make theater their career.😂😂😂 Some people just want to have fun.
tbf, sharpay's goal in life was all about theatre and troy and Gabriella show up outta nowhere with no passion whatsoever only continuing on with theatre so they'd have something in common and ruined sharpey's high school career for something they find to be a hobby, on top of that they show up at her house and win her talent contest which she probably really needed to win to feel better especially since they already took the lead role in the school production from her. to top it all off her own brother worked against her to give away any roles she did get just cause he was mad she has a crush on troy!? i get that she's a bit push and ppl might say in a real audition she cant get all upset about not winning but im pretty sure in that situation shed be understanding of the fact that everyone else who auditioned also has a passion for acting, but if its a talent show she has literally made just so she can win and boost her self esteem, she kinda has a right to be pissed that some ppl she didnt even invite came and ruined her moment. if gabriella had a science fair project that she worked real hard on and someone else saw her idea and did the same thing and won shed get pissed and if troy set up for the perfect 3 pointer shot just for his teammate to grab the ball and dunk it he'd get pissed so why isnt sharpay allowed to get annoyed when someone barges out of nowhere after mocking her passion just to start taking her only real talent ( lbh ) just cause they could?
girl, troy and gabriella didn't ruin anything. sharpay made thousands of school musicals, the other students also had the right to participate and discover passion for theater. they never did anything to harm sharpay, she was the one who tried to sabotage them all three movies (especially the second one, when all they wanted to do was be in the musical and have a fun summer with their friends). that said, all that happened were just consequences of her actions. 🤷🏽♀️
