Suppose if we create a private endpoint to connect your Vm from one subnet with the AKS in different subnet. In this case after do we need to create a RBAC roles because it's two independent services and private endpoint is just a way to connect them. ?
@arpitjindal9036 private endpoint facilitates secure communication, RBAC roles are essential for governing access, ensuring proper authorization, adhering to security best practices, and maintaining control over the resources within your AKS cluster. Please go through this integration service it will for AKS side configuration azure.microsoft.com/en-in/updates/generally-available-private-link-service-integration/
@@HowAzureWorks I am only only talking about with Respect to AKS only I am talking like if any of the azure service want to connect with other Service then after communicating does it need to authenticate as well eg VM with Blob Storage, AKS with Azure File Share, Azure Function with Cosmo DB. In these scenarios suoppose if we create a private enpoint then do we also need to grant any RBAC roles if we want to use them.
Thanks for easy explanation. First I think it was tricky to understand. Now it's easy . I have a query incase both networks are same ipconfiguration will it impact of overlapping ?
I am happy as my content useful for you. Answer to your qauation, Yes IP range is similar to the IP range of the Private Link Service (PLS), it could potentially cause issues with connectivity.
I think this video is terrific and One thing I would like to add here Private endpoint add some cost to your infra. MS charges for Every PE
Thanks For such a detailed Video !! Keep creating such type of videos
Thanks!
Really amazing, and used very simple words, so everyone easily can understand.
Thanks 🙏
Wonderful explanation , appreciate
Glad it was helpful!
