You can call whoever you want to, change the curriculum, change the principal, it doesn’t matter. Parental involvement is the single most important factor in education. If my parents aren’t working with me making sure I do my homework seeing if I’m even doing my homework if a if they have no involvement in my school at all, I’m done. I will not succeed
