Here be dragons! I wonder if its another one of those tunned for asian market sets... The Shozy form 1.4 was a beautiful set that I still listen to this date, with a warm bassy tone. Thanks for the review, the first could find for this set!
Yes, it's tunned for asian market. I'm a chinese and mainly listen to chinese female vocal and japanese female vocal (rarely listen to western pop song or rock etc) and this iem sounds great.
Love how you don't hold back on this review. I was considering this iem for it's look and price. Not anymore
This is a shame, especially since the shozy form 1.1 was so good 😫
Great review praised audio! Those looks like a thieaudio iem 🙂
That box is quite small for $500, but if it sounds good I dont mind it personally. Although I do understand as to why someone would want a good unboxing experience for spending so much money.
Thanks! Yea, the box isn't too important as long as it sounds good, but sadly it doesn't sound very good 😬
@@PraisedAudio That was a bummer yes.
Should be renamed to Enigma because literally no one has talked about this.
Have been using them for almost a year now, got a good deal on them for around $350.
The fit is indeed something to get used to, but isn't the worst imo. Can easily wear them for 6 hours at a time.
The nozzle part you pointed out is a small design flaw, it's wide and the tips won't really stay on all the time.
About the sound, for the price I paid for it, I don't think you could really get anything better with the soundstage and imaging these give you; But for $500? Yea... not worth it
The lows are excellent, lots of details, got a good amount of punch to them without sounding muddy.
The mids are just there... nothing good or bad about it, bit forward sounding, just your average iem.
For the shouty highs, I myself don't really mind it. Always got my iem's on a low volume, I don't really have a problem here.
Wouldn't really recommend these iem's if you're looking for a good sounding iem.
But if you want something with a really decent soundstage and imaging, good sounding lows and somewhat weird sounding mids and highs, get it when there is some deal on them. Not worth $500.
Good to see someone else's views on the set! Very hard to find people who have tried the set online. Thanks for the comment, this can help people see more opinions on the set. 🙂
