The first time I study Xiaoyu's moves was very difficult. She has a lot of moveset and you have to be fast when you want to perform her combos. Also, Xiaoyu's hair here reminds me of her Tekken 3 hair.
Maybe I'm being salty but I feel like Hwoarang's pressure strategy is too brainless. He's way too dangerous when your health is low because he can force you to put up with his mixup and eventually he'll tag you with something while you're busy thinking of a way to break it up. I'll try to turn this into something productive: what is his weakness, specifically? The fact people can just run you down by constant stance-switching is often more crazy than I can handle.
I was hoping someone would answer this, because I have felt the same way for years ... most characters are at least unsafe if you guess a 50/50 .. you guess hwo's mixup correctly, he is still safe and can continue pressure. I thought low jabs would help as a precaution, but smart players will just do fast mids that keep you locked out
Watching this in 2024 makes me miss TTT2 a lot T-T I don't care what pros say - this was such a fun and quirky game. Insane combo opportunities, crazy roster, legacy characters, easter eggs and awesome character customization (Namco, can we have multipart hairstyles again?).
In that first match at 4:07 you tried to catch him with an unblockable tech trap. I do something similar with xiaoyu and kunimitsu but before I go into hyp I side step left for a split second. I don't if it will work with miharu off your filler but when I do it with kunis' 3,4 it pins the opponent inbetween xiaoyu and the wall so no matter which way they tech roll it will catch them.
What a surprise, Matdol playing like shit. Nothing but 3 bar lows, launchers, and wakeup kicks as usual. Unfortunately Yanflip doesn't know the matchup.
you comparing them to capos? You realize capos are annoying because people can spam their normal combos and are always on the floor. With xiaoyu you need to know what you're doing
Riahisama if a noob spam, a pro conter spam, i don't compare low capo and low xiaou. hight lvl capo and xiaou have center gravity low so we wif and they start us they are safe and sometime combo doesn't work on her litle body utltra cheating. And 2 same chara is more easy to play

I'm still struggling too. You SS, you get caught. Try avoiding the low/high you get launched. You turtle you get swept. It's so difficult! >.

I was talking to yanflip and he said that the matches were a 1 bar. Thats why he didn't launch stuff like Hwaorangs b+3.

She was also an alternate outfit for Xiayou in Tekken 4 so that is another factor.
