I actually really like how the Priest-Warlock architype works together with the Warlock-Demon Hunter, because the Soul Shards do change your Health total.
I love all the new archetypes I made an really fun Control DH for Standart and it makes so much fun There aren't only 1 ore 2 arch types for each class Because of the dual class cards there are so many different decks for all classes Not only the wizbang decks We have an INCREDIBLE meta of much fun discovery and A LOT of decks
Hey Roffle! How good is this deck in your opinion? I quit hearthstone when they killed handlock in standard but this deck piqued my interest and I might start playing again - now in wild - just for this deck.
This deck, or at least some version of even warlock, is what I was the most excited about going into this expansion, and the 92% winrate over the 12 games i've played with my version confirms how broken this deck really is (lol). Nice to see it up on your channel this early, havn't had time to try a version with soul fragments yet so i'll enjoy trying out this list ^^ Now im just waiting for your take on some form of Spirit of the Frog shaman and im all set :)
6:15 at least the secret mages have the decency to concede against you. I was playing against one earlier that only conceded after playing every single card in his deck, and his very last draw, the aluneth. Meanwhile I had been sitting on my 15/20 spectral cutlass for a good dozen turns. I don't mind dragging it out pointlessly against secret mages tough, means they don't get to requeue immediatly. Win for me, win for whoever would have gotten him as an opponent.
Hey Roffle I noticed the same thing about this kind of deck being somewhat aggro/midrange even with all the high cost cards and removal it has when I was playing it for a while at one point. When you can get an 8/8 pretty early and the opponent can’t do anything about it then you can go face almost as well as a more stereotypical face deck like face hunter etc. I’m glad I’m not the only one who saw that about this deck. I might have to play this new version of it ;-)
I’ve had a lot of success w a small dragon package, twilight drake and the 8 mana 4/12 as it lets u run the insane two mana life steal burst card, also twilight drake shreds priest
I never thought I’d see the day that twilight drake wasn’t good enough for handlock. This expansion did it. By god, the madmen have gone and did it. RIP sweet little twilight drake. You will be missed

I actually made the same deck, but I favoured dragon package over the faceless and soul shears, and decided to cut abyssal summoner feeling she was just a bit slow. Having the twilight drakes, 1 guardian for extra taunt, zzeraku, and nether breaths for immediate healing... Admittedly I also had Bloodreaver but I realised Zihi is probably better, or at least just an extra big thing since Reaver is a very slow card in the deck
Love your new intro. It feels like you're actually talk to us rather than speaking out loud your thoughts process in other videos. Btw, missed opportunity to say "Surprise, surprise, it survived" on both Explosive Runes on Giant. Idk, maybe just me.
Why not the 1 mana 2/1 kobold? Helps for lal those times you habe 1 mana left over, and synergizes with the self damage stuff. It's the best way to get a turn 3 giant while also being mana efficient on turn 2. Edit: I'm stupid

I've seen some lists floating around doing that and want to try it myself. I had a similar list last expansion and Darkglare is a lot of fun but it seems like it'd be quite a bit stronger now with the new cards.
if big shaman continues to be a fairly popular deck its pretty promising for even warlock. Quest mage is a pretty big concern though with their wankers and freezes.

Have been living even lock both before and after. It is quite handy outside of the heavy control matchup. I don’t have Zihi, so that might help though

Try new one with a spellburst for 4 mana. Better than Twilight Guardian and definitely better than Drake.
