Epoxy the broken piece and the edge of the lense then rubber band like the video. Once set the plastic should hold since the glue was applied around the edge of the lense bonded to the frame.
bond with superglue and immediately sprinkle with baking soda hardens immediately, this holds but to give it a stronger bond repeat layers of this and always apply on the area surrounding the fractured part this creates a solid resin plastic-like substance that overlaps on both sides of the fracture, I've dropped my glasses after this fix and the bond has held, sure if looks is what you're going for then a basic super glue fix is the cleanest but not durable, if your frame is black you can use a sharpie to color match the last layer of super glue and baking soda, again the baking soda makes the crazy glue solidify instantly and it becomes a hard resin-like compound so practice on a sheet of paper so you get familiarized, drop a few drops of crazy/super glue and sprinkle the baking soda and watch the reaction, many videos here on TH-cam about this
@@tman9338 Haven't tried bonding frame 1st, I would think it would snap open since it would always be the weakest point, but on the flip side if it does work Bonding frame 1st then you can add an extra layer of reinforcement on top, that would make it extra strong

This came from bed, bath, beyond. But you can check walmart.com or amazon.com. If you have no luck with that, some companies sell UV activated resin and UV lights. It just might cost more.

I don't think so because superglue is used straight as is. Someone tried epoxy which requires mixing 2 parts and that didn't even work. This product uses UV light to cure the glue.

You need to make sure that the light hits the liquid. If you aim the light onto the plastic frame, it will do nothing. You need to place enough liquid on and then shoot the light right on it or up through the lens of the glasses. Let me know if this helps. Plus, you can't be too rough with the glasses as it will never be as strong as the original frames which were molded as one.
