  • In this video I'm going to show you "How to Propagate Allamanda Plant from Cutting : Grow Allamanda Plant with Updated". Allamanda is a genus of flowering plants in the dogbane family, Apocynaceae. They are native to the Americas from Mexico to Argentina. Some species are familiar as ornamental plants cultivated for their large, colorful flowers. Most species produce yellow flowers.
    Plants of the genus are evergreen trees, shrubs or vines. Allamanda propagation technique are very easy just cut any soft-wood stem and deep into the rooting powder. Planted into the well drainage soil.
    Thank you for watching my video.

    Need Advice. My ALLAMANDA Creeper has started blooming. Need to know how to get profuse budding now. What should be added to soil. I stay near Delhi

      Allamanda plant required too much sunlight, it's increase maximum blooms. So keep the plant in sunlight place and use vermicompost or any organic houseplant fertilizer in soil.

    What kind of powder do you use to the stem?
    How many times do you splash water to the plant?
    Where the better place do we place the plant?
    Is it covered with plastic?
    When do the root of the plant appear?

    • @iamgreenbengal
      @iamgreenbengal  4 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      I'm use "Cutting Aid" rooting powder. When top of the soil feels dry then water it. new cutting don't require full sunlight keep it partial shade place. Covered with plastic it's not mandatory. Cutting rooting appear with in 45 days.

      Plants will go into dormancy during winter. In some areas it means very slow or no growth until late winter/spring time will occur.

    • @iamgreenbengal
      @iamgreenbengal  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      You can grow it cutting without any rooting powder. otherwise you can use cinnamon powder.

  • @ramd66
    @ramd66 4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

    What is a rooting powder? Can we make rooting powders?

    • @iamgreenbengal
      @iamgreenbengal  4 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Rooting powder is a mixture of plant hormones which are able to stimulate the growth of a plant cutting. By using a rooting powder, you can clone a new plant from a fresh plant cutting, ensuring that the cloned plant grows fast and strong while being protected from fungus and disease. Yes you can make rooting power with some cinnamon powder. Don't worry you can grow cuttings without any rooting power.
