Salve! My name is Paul, I'm an American, 53, who lives in Florence, Italy. In the spring I am looking to move to Sicily. I'm trying to decide exactly where. I do know that I want to live directly along the sea. Any specific places that you might suggest to live long term and why? I appreciate any tips or recommendations that you may have. Grazie mille! Hi Paul! Welcome to my channel! I lived in Bagheria and really liked it but it isn’t near the sea exactly. Some wonderful towns you should check out to possibly live in could be Cefalù or even Taormina. Those are both a bit touristy but there’s a lot to do and see. And they are by the ocean. Definitely make a trip down to visit before making the decision :) Good luck on your exciting move!

@@thestylishsicilian Grazie! Of course Cefalu and Taormina are BEAUTIFUL. But, as you said, they are touristy and expensive to actually live there. I have also been thinking of the Aoelian island of Lipari. Something in all of my research into Sicily has just drawn me there. Not sure exactly why, Lol.
