Hey Jim, I have had that grip on 2 putters. I love it. Keeps all the extra movements out of the putt. Happy they found you. I am a believer in their product. And yes, they are out of Australia.
I put the K grips on my putter. I love ‘em. Took 3-4 putts off my scores.
Very good and thorough analysis. Can´t wait for one on the Superstroke Wrist lock.
This looks like the same grip that Paul Runyan "Little Poison" used back in the 30's
Very effective putting style , but this grip should be used the other way around , with the thin part under ( a triangle upside down like this ---> V ) .

I tried it. It is now on three of my putters. It works. ( for me) if I use the "palms up' grip on the putter.
Anything that improves putting results is heaven sent. Pulling a 2 footer is evil incarnate.
Pulling a putt is in your stroke, not in the grip on your club. Swing your arms back and through the ball. Relax.
You do realize you can use that style grip technique , "System." with any grip shape or size?

Jim noticed teh BMJ is very heavy 120 + gm (double the weight of standard grip), does this make the head feel lighter and do you need to add weight to the head. The fern on grip is from New Zealand.
I beleive because the grip is so long and the technique used with it the head weight really doesn't come into play. They have released a new model with raised dimples. It has a very grippy texture.
Jim, I just bought a standard size grip. Any guidance for installing?
Jim, why not face on putting, yes I know , no one will even try it, it's to much like game improvement irons BUT if you put one together with a center shafted putter with an 80 degree lie angle about 41 to 43 inches long ( I apologize for telling you your business ) and let your friend try it for a while, with the pendulum stroke of a face on putter, he might have a revelation. The only problem I've ever had, is making sure the bottom of the stroke is at the ball. Love your channel, wish you were within easy driving distance.
side saddle putting has its advantages to be sure. There is a putter as you describe in the BOMAR putter. The real issue with the bottom of the stroke is the placement of the ball to start the stroke

Good question! Super strokes, Garsen, the BJM, a couple of the golf prides is about it

Interesting grip, how does it compare to the Garsen Max
IMO the Garsen is a super stroke shaped version of the same. However the BJM is specific in its use and method, I know Bob likes it!
Jim, is there a dramatic change in swing weight over the normal putter grip?
not really. I was concerned too butt the putter grip really balances the putter

From address position with no club in your hands, place the palms of your hands together. RELAX. Swing your arms back and through the ball. REPEAT. Execute this putting stroke and allow the ball to get in the way of the club.
Where can you buy a Capto and how much do they cost?
Better to find a fitter who has one. The number of times you would use the capto would not make it worth investment.
You really don't want much if any body movement during a putting stroke. Too many variables which are way too hard to control.
