"Enormity is a 1-4 player extraction dungeon crawler that offers epic boss battles and can be enjoyed in one-shot sessions or as interconnected modular campaigns, boasting virtually infinite replayability. Set in an immersive, reactive, and seamless science fiction open world, players explore the vast NASF ship, The Shepherd, scavenging for loot and knowledge while avoiding or confronting terrifying intruder enemies, including powerful boss-type alien lifeforms.
The game is steeped in rich lore, with players uncovering The Shepherd's enigmatic past through engaging narratives contained within the Mythos Book.To enhance exploration, Location Books provide players with maps that unfold as they traverse the ship, resembling metroidvania-style gameplay.
Players can choose established characters or create their own, developing them through branching progression trees. They gather engrams to convert into resources, weaponize their findings, and develop technology while uncovering alien lore. Crafting new weapons, gear, and suits, and customizing loadouts becomes essential for survival in this adventure."

In the next video can you add a note of measurements of how much table space this takes? When most playthrough videos zoom in all the time you cant tell how much space this game takes

Thanks for watching and the feedback. I'll look into it but as this is a prototype and a large campaign game there might be more than what's stated. I work on a 3x4 foot table and have never had an issue with any game at that size. Worst case, the box is on a chair to the side. Best case there are pockets of space around the table of various sizes. Helps that I play solo too! ;)

@@RollingSolo thanks, definite measurements would be more helpful if you can do that.

I had initially assumed you didnt get a preview of this game because I didnt see this video after scrolling 2.5x pages when i searched for "Enormity boardgame" on YT. I guess it was because this didn't have as many views as the other videos for this game. Not sure why your channel is going down in views and subscribers because it's one of the best solo channels. I checked on social blade and both subs and views are lower than they were last year.

Hey! Thanks for watching. I appreciate your support of the channel! 😄
This video came out later than others. Took longer to get the prototype in Canada. Working on a Game Overview & Gameplay video at the moment actually! 🔥
I have a quality over quantity approach and that won’t change. As my time frees up, I’ll add more videos, but I always keep my quality level consistent or increasing.
Socialblade mainly focuses on views or subscribers. However, it’s there’s more to the equation than that. Was quality of content well put together? Helpful or not? Was it rushed and disconnected? Did the viewer have to go somewhere else after the video because the content was so high level and generic? Was it basically an opinion piece after one play? Did the playthrough disconnect the audience early and people stopped watching?
Anyone can be pulled into viewing new content for a hot game. What matters is putting the effort in before, during and after filming to make the content worth watching.
There’s a ton of channels that pump out 4-5+ different game videos a week for as many games as possible just chasing views. I’ll tell you right now, it’s noise. Anyone doing this, their opinion is of no use. Do you think they’re putting in the time with each game? I can tell you they’re not from experience. It’s an amateur approach to content that many fall into.
When a channel begins this pattern, I simply no longer watch them. I know the effort needed to cover a game properly and I respect the time and effort of designers, artists, writers and publishers too much to make pump and dump videos. So for my standards, generic measurements like subs and views mean nothing to me. I focus on the viewer and what I’d want to see/hear in a video.
I’ve got exciting plans for the future, I’ll tell you that! 😉

Just get myself confused. I’ve backed Nemesis Retaliation already and honestly can’t see any excuse to add another big box to my collection of not-yet-painted/played - games. Not so fast paced as they claim, minis look cheap and not interesting and I love good looking minis above all😊. Aliens variety also on the very low level. Only well designed and painted missions binder look great to me. Bummer..

If I was a sci-fi fan, I'd still pass on this as it's using books for battle maps. Dislike this trend to save money while lessening the experience.

Hey! Thanks for watching. I like that games are leveraging different techniques for large scale campaign games. Some use many many loose scenario tiles and others decide to put them in one place. Theres pros and cons to both and it’s great to have options. Sounds like you prefer many separate map components. Cheers! 😄👍🏼
